Portland Anarchist Zine Fair

WHILE MISERY EXISTS, WE CHOOSE REBELLION

Everyone who has lived here knows that there are two Portlands: the Portland of the wealthy elite and their yuppie lackeys and the Portland of the poor, of the rabble. The architects of this misery are trying to ease the tension building on the fault line between these two cities using political games, counter-cultural branding, rainbow washing, and welfare “services” that amount to breadcrumbs laid in a mouse trap.

Their vision for the city and larger region is crystal clear: they intend to transform the Columbia River valley into a new Silicon Valley, using the forests and rivers to power its factories and Portland as the playground for the influx of tech workers that is already very much underway. Portland lies at a critical crossroads not only of these plans for the region, but also of the larger designs of domination for its ongoing wars against life itself. Oregon’s existing “semiconductor cluster” produces microchips that are the heartless core of the machine that spreads war across the earth, that deports and imprisons according to a logic of profit and control, that ruthlessly exploits those who manage to evade outright capture. And they’re being made right here.

Important Information from Indonesia for International Comrades.

Indonesia, September 18, 2025, by XIII-XII.

After the mass action that took place at the end of August and early
September, a wave of mass arrests followed, with thousands of people being detained across various cities in Indonesia — both post-action arrests and sweeps from those already arrested. Even now, various anti-authoritarian groups in Indonesia are experiencing widespread paranoia, which is understandable for some people due to the state’s cyber operations aimed at mapping both formal and informal anti-authoritarian cells. Several collective and individual names have already been collected, which only adds to the paranoid climate that continues to persist.

Some refer to this as “going underground,” or even as an individual safety method, to later continue efforts for solidarity with comrades who have been designated as suspects.

Updates, repression and solidarity actions for the continuing struggle of anarchist comrades for the Indonesian Insurrection August 2025

14/9/25 – Indonesia repression news

In short nationally there’s 5444 people reported arrested from the uprising. 583 are on further investigations. That is the recent report from the legal aid institution [www.lbhbandung.or.id]. On 3rd September the same leftist legal organisation released info that 3337 people had been arrested, so we can see that the repression is building momentum. Hundreds of anarchists are reported arrested.

We block everything! September 10, France

A short update on the September 10th protests in Paris and France.

Since dawn in dozens of cities in France, the “Block Everything” movement began with the aim of closing the highways around the cities and blocking traffic. In some areas, this was achieved by completely closing roads, highways, and even entire cities, while in Paris, an attempt was made to block the ring road that separates Paris from the suburbs. The cops were ready with 80,000 of them throughout the country. From 6 am, the roadblocks, the blocking of stores/companies/supermarkets such as Carrefour (also targeted in solidarity with Palestine), train stations and high schools, in hundreds of places, began. The cops’ order was to immediately intervene in the blocking points, with beatings and arrests (over 500 arrests in the whole country).

Of course, the forces of repression in many of the points found themselves disorganized and surprised by the movement, as they found resistance and counterattacks. Many of the blockades lasted for hours, even the whole day, while others were quickly dispersed, however, turning the “retreat” into spontaneous marches and alternative targets. People stayed on the streets from dawn until night, disrupting normality by any means, from fanfare to clashes. Some interesting actions were:

Solidarity with the rebels in Indonesia by Anarchist collective Acte (Athens,Greece)

Solidarity with the rebels in Indonesia

During the summer, mass protests took place in various parts of Indonesia against new austerity measures, tax increases and salary increases for members of parliament, whose salaries are 30 times higher than the minimum wage.

On August 28, during a protest rally, an armoured police vehicle runs over 21-year-old Affan Kurniawan, killing him. Affan worked as a delivery boy and was on his way to deliver food. After that, an unprecedented uprising broke out across the country. Police stations were destroyed, local parliaments and government buildings were burned, and politicians’ homes were looted. To buy time, the state declared that it would reduce the privileges of the political elite while at the same time intensifying repression and bringing the army on to the streets. So far, there have been 10 dead, dozens missing, hundreds injured, and thousands arrested. Despite government promises and repression, the flame of the uprising does not seem to be extinguished.

October is a month of remembrance and action for the anarchist revolutionary Kyriakos Xymitiris by Dimitra Zarafeta, Marianna Manoura (Grrece)

As long as there are those who are lost in battle, we will exist to continue the war

And when we die, we die like stars scattering light. Like that light that shone a year before the explosives explosion in the Ampelokipi apartment on 10/31, when the anarchist armed fighter Kyriakos Xymitiris was walking the last part of his journey, where everything is condensed into a moment, where his revolutionary consciousness aligns with the desire to put an end to this aging world that feeds on his flesh.

Filled with immense comradeship, determination and with no inclination to retreat, he committed himself to the struggle with a vision of freedom. With clear eyes, comrade Kyriakos Xymitiris made no concessions to emotion, he loved life, honouring it with every breath he took. Both in Berlin and in Athens, he participated in all the fields of struggle indiscriminately. In rallies and marches against gentrification, in anti-fascist and anti-patriarchal patrols, in mass poster pastings, in militant defences of occupations, in struggles against colonialism and prisons.

Three Rail fires in three months: some facts and thoughts (USA)

via: rosecitycounterinfo

Over the last three months, three rail bridges have been damaged or destroyed by fires in the Oregon and Washington area. Each of these fires was set intentionally. No arrests have been made, and to our knowledge, none of these actions have been accompanied by any claim or explanation.

But the world around us is the only explanation we need.

As we barrel forward towards a future of untold climate disasters and total ecological mutilation, the processes of extraction show no sign of stopping… They have only accelerated, with companies racing to exploit new corners of the earth for rare-earth minerals, essential components in chips and semi-conductors, the building blocks of our new digital prisons. Power has proposed false “green solutions” that only serve to further our dependence on technology and extraction and polish the face of industrial capitalism.

The fires

In May, a fire completely destroyed a 100 year old wooden rail bridge along a remote stretch of the Mt. Rainier Scenic Railroad in Washington. By the time firefighters could reach the blaze, the rail bridge was reduced to a smoldering, maimed clump of metal. The fire struck just hours after a sale was completed of the railway, transferring ownership to the Western Forest Industries Museum. Rail Operations were limited at the time of the fire, but the new company had planned to fully resume rail traffic on the line, both tourist and freight. Even after months of investigation, no arrests have been made. Continue reading Three Rail fires in three months: some facts and thoughts (USA)

Sponti in Koeln – Solidarity with Rigaer 94 (Germany)

solivid-rigaer.mp4

Thursday 28.8. morning cops broke into Rigaer 94 in Berlin at the demand of the scumbag owner of the letterbox company Lafone. This latest attack comes during a period of re-militarization which includes the redirection of capital towards weapon production, as well as the reintroduction of forced military service as decided by the Bundestag on Wednesday.

Military aggression comes with intensified repression against the internal enemies of the state-capitalist system. So it is no surprise that our spaces where we come together to fight back are at the top of the list of targets of the state.

**FUCK THEM ALL.** (Indonesia )

**FUCK THEM ALL.**

Last night, our friend Pem got snatched by the pigs, and we still don’t
know what charges they’ll throw at him. This morning, they’re out there in the media, trying to make a spectacle of mass arrests, calling us “provocateurs” and “outside agitators.” And they’re naming names—**our names.**

The usual traitor of this post-indrustrial capitalism such as
“leftists,” the NGOs, and even the so-called anarchists have
**betrayed** us by becoming the echo chamber of State narratives.
They’re dancing in the state’s echo chamber, spreading their lies and
slander. They’re parroting the ruling class narrative, blaming the
**rioters**, blaming anyone who dares use insurrectionary tactics to
tear down this civilization. The same people who once claimed solidarity now **help the state** track us down, label us as criminals or outside agitator, and destroy everything we’ve fought for. They even parroting the same narrative of “rioters caused the death of several people”.

Call to Arms: Insurrectionary Solidarity with Indonesia

Communique from FAI Indonesia:

Since the 25th, the flames of rebellion have scorched the oppressive forces in Indonesia, igniting a fierce uprising against a regime that thrives on violence and subjugation. This is no fleeting moment; it is a throbbing heartbeat of resistance from those long denied their rights. The loss of ten lives in this struggle only deepens our resolve to confront the state and its henchmen.

As the government unleashes military brutality, kidnaps activists, and engages in sinister cyber warfare, we are reminded: “Insurrection is the most logical weapon of the masses.” It is time to act- our fury must unite as a force beyond borders!

ROME, ITALY: BUG FOUND IN CAR

BUG FOUND IN CAR

We receive and spread:

Bug found (2 microphones) with vodafone SIM card, 32GB and GPS SD card in a car in Rome. It had apparently started recording and transmitting from February 14th 2025, perhaps after being placed at the end of January.

The contraption was situated at the driver’s side, low down, along the left side of the seat. It was fed by cables under the steering wheel, one of the microphones was positioned under the driving seat, the other near the safety belt on the same side.
End of transmissions, shit!

Archipelago of Fire – Uprising in Indonesia , and from ABC Indonesia: International call for solidarity to the arrested, disappeared and killed in the ongoing uprising

News from Indonesia. 25th August and continuing….

via: darknights

Angry youth uprising triggered by rising taxes for public and repressive military. There’s no organisation, the insurrection is being spearheaded by young anarchist, nihilists and uncontrollables. Many young anarchists from high school students association are arrested. The high schoolers are the energy. Around 400 of them were arrested on 25th August according to reports. Most of the action coordinated live on social media. Usually some liberal union or opposition party controls the narratives but not this time. Even mainstream media acknowledge that social media is the source of the documentation. Politicians cannot control the narratives any longer. It’s been a tradition for decades that executive student bodies normally are stewards for these kind of demos, but each year these brokers are getting outed. By the students themselves. That’s why NGOs, unions, “civil anarchists” and students associations of left and right hate the anti-organisational faction.

Fuck them all. We provoke the youngsters to act for themselves.Individuals are no longer spooked by ideological duty, norms and all those extrenal values…

Last night, 28th August, police killed one dead. Nationwide riot against the tax rise. In several cities the riot was organic and self-organised. The police public image continues to crumble, as the peoplke supports the rioters. Cells coordinated other things and most nihilist-insurrectionary announcement are quite dominating the narrative. Anonymous instagram social media accounts with thousands of followers calling for anti-political insurgency. Everyday they make good calls and explanations.

Berlin,(Germany): Police raid in Rigaer94

It’s been almost four years, but today they knocked again: at 6.00 in the morning 27/08 we woke up to loud voices, chainsaws, ankle grinders and hammers on the doors. Out of 200 cops which were in the street, around 100 entered the house. Supposedly there were in total 700 cops related to the raid deployed in the city.

As usual the cops used the opportunity to cause as much chaos and destruction as possible: Multiple doors were destroyed completely or deconstructed, furniture, handrails and windows were demolished, parts of the fence to our neighbours yard were ripped off, cops peed on toilet seats and so on. Even though they did not have a warrant for it, they, among other things, stole documents and technical devices. Continue reading Berlin,(Germany): Police raid in Rigaer94

Security Culture and Safe Houses: Sustaining the Network, Nurturing Continuity

In the world of resistance without formal structures, especially within anarchist networks, security culture emerges as a foundational principle that permeates nearly every aspect of collective and individual life. […] The safe house, meanwhile, is the most tangible embodiment of that spirit. […] Nothing is ever truly “safe” in a world under perpetual surveillance, but the safe house becomes a space where survival — both physical and mental — remains possible to fight for.

Challenges of Police Investigations Into Anarchist Direct Actions

Translations: FrenchGermanGreekItalianMandarin (Simplified)Russian

Let’s say a few anarchists are planning an illegal, anonymous direct action. For example, they want to paint a wall, or smash a bank, or burn down a government building. The goals of the police are to prevent actions like this from taking place and/or identify and arrest the anarchists and gather enough evidence for them to be convicted. What can the police do to achieve these goals, depending on their motivation, their resources, the type of action, and the way the anarchists organize? What challenges will they face? And how can anarchists identify these challenges as weaknesses in order to exploit them and act without getting caught?

This text aims to contribute to answering these questions by addressing some points that we think have been insufficiently explored in anarchist literature in recent years.
