OPEN LIBRARY
“TOTAL LIBERATION”

The “total liberation” open library is an experimental project of solidarity and collective reading. The basic vision of the library is to spread the ideas of total liberation through the prism of antispeciesism, to create a pole of attraction, transmission and intersection of the ideas of the liberation of animals and the earth in the context of the anarchist struggle. At this stage, for some time, it will have a mobile format with some titles from the catalogue available for some hours at a predetermined point at a given time.

Surveillance Countermeasures

From No Trace Project

In the past decades, the surveillance capabilities of State actors have greatly diversified, thanks in part to new technological developments such as video surveillance, mobile phones and DNA sampling. Despite this, physical surveillance — the direct observation of people or activities for the purpose of gathering information — is still widely used by State actors, in particular in cases where other surveillance techniques are not effective. Our Threat Library references examples of the use of physical surveillance against anarchists and other rebels.

Surveillance Countermeasures is a 2019 book on physical surveillance and the mitigations one can take to protect against it, written by former U.S. spy Aden C. Magee. It extensively covers topics such as the principles and tactics of surveillance operations, surveillance detection, and anti-surveillance.

We believe this book can be an essential read for anarchists and other rebels at risk of physical surveillance by law enforcement or intelligence agencies.

Limassol, Cyprus: Comrades head outside the TAE Police station in solidarity of murdered migrant from Bangladesh. 10 arrested, two wounded.

A protest took place in Limassol on Saturday, 13 April, 2024 concerning the death of a migrant worker from Bangladesh on Wednesday 17 April.

In a statement calling for a protest circulating on social media, it is mentioned that “the fact that migrants chose to risk their lives rather than be in the hands of the state shows us the treatment that migrants receive when they are in the hands of the state and how just the thought of being deported makes risking their lives a one-way street.”

Sweep out snitches and their accomplices!

 [ – Česky – ] [ – Français – ]

In 2022, the section of the International Workers Association in the region of Russia called for a boycott of the provocateurs, Anatoly Dubovik and Alexander Kolchenko. The statement said:

The latter means that these fake anarchists, by publishing the addresses of anti-war activists located in Russia, are directly inciting Russian secret services and nationalist thugs against them, as opponents of the war, in order to deal with them with their hands! In the conditions of ongoing harassment, dismissals, threats and physical repression against anti-military-minded people in Russia, such actions are tantamount to real denunciation with a direct indication of whom the repressive forces should turn their attention to.

It’s now less than 100 days to the Olympic Games 2024 but for some the ‘JO du Zbeul’ have already begun it seems.

AnarSec: Tech Guides for Anarchists

AnarSec is a new resource designed to help anarchists navigate the hostile terrain of technology — defensive guides for digital security and anonymity, as well as offensive guides for hacking. All guides are available in booklet format for printing and will be kept up to date.

As anarchists, we must defend ourselves against police and intelligence agencies that conduct targeted digital surveillance for the purposes of incrimination and network mapping. With the defensive series, our goal is to obscure the State’s visibility into our lives and projects. Our recommendations are intended for all anarchists, and they are accompanied by guides to put the advice into practice.

With the upcoming offensive series, we hope to contribute to the practice of hacking the State and capital. Astute readers may notice that the art featured on our homepage and booklets is taken from communiqués detailing how anarchists robbed a bank (Phineas Fisher) and destroyed police servers (AntiSec) using only a keyboard.

The defensive series currently includes:

Tails

Qubes OS

France: Let’s put out the flame of the JOP ! [Olympic games]!

Let’s put out the flame of the JOP

Call to the mischievous, the jokers and other heretics of the Sport Business

The harm caused by the Olympic and Paralympic Games (JOP) no longer needs to be demonstrated as it is now well known: security delirium, anti-terrorist law, mismanagement and financial malpractices, shameless increase in metro tickets, eviction of homeless people,  students expelled from their lodgings, etc, etc.
The list is too long, and now, obvious.(1)
The promotion of the JOP also passes through the journey of the olympic Flame whose route through France is due to start in Marseilles on May 8th (entire course on

Chile: Interview with Espacio Fénix EN/ES

ES: (Chile) Entrevista a Espacio Fénix

Opening the tensions of dialogue, we present the following section of interviews with individuals, collectivities and related spaces that make up the anarchic body in different parts of the world.

The interviews are a valuable contribution to the observation in detail and depth; they come, in a certain way, to broaden the view to give us feedback among comrades and to debate with perspectives and projections, that although they may be different, they converge in the ideas and practices of freedom against all authority.

Without further ado, we have in this first venture of dialogues the comrades of Espacio Fénix.

1-How and when did Espacio Fénix arise, and what projects converge in the space?

Kirchseeon , incendiary sabotage of a gravel plant

Less than 24 hours after flames engulfed a gravel plant in the Buch district of Kirchseeon, some fifteen kilometers east of Munich, the police in Upper Bavaria came to the conclusion on Tuesday February 6 that it was clearly arson.

Several fires were identified on the site of the gravel extraction plant (a material mainly used for concrete and roads), destroying or seriously damaging a company building, two front end loaders and several conveyor belts shortly before 5 a.m. on Sunday night, February 5.

DNA you say? Burn everything to burn longer: a guide to leaving no traces

“This is a practical zine, but we’ll take (brief) detours through theory. First, we’ll talk about how cops work with DNA. Then we’ll offer ideas for how to make their job as difficult as possible, both by giving tips to develop your own security protocols and by proposing a protocol that we consider appropriate. At the end, we’ve added more theoretical appendices on the biology of DNA and on some technical aspects of its use by scientists.”

How to submit an anonymous communiqué and get away with it

[PDF for printing]     |     [PDF for reading]

A communiqué, also sometimes called a reportback or hit report, is a report on (typically) illegal direct actions that is shared online via counter-info sites or in print publications. Mainstream media may suppress reporting about certain tactics or the reason for choosing a target may be unclear, so submitting a communiqué is a way to share news, tactics, and political motivations directly.

This guide describes how to securely submit an anonymous communiqué online. It is written for anarchists, but could be useful to other audiences like journalists or dissident groups sharing information while concealing their identities. While some communiqués are signed by a group or individual claiming responsibility, this guide focuses on anonymity.

Nothing you do on computers or the internet is ever totally safe, but you can reduce most technology-based risk by following some simple steps. There are many methods beyond those shared here, but this is a set of instructions that will hopefully help you.

Meuse: the tradition of the olympic flame’s relay finally recognized (France)

Meuse: the tradition of the olympic flame’s relay finally recognized

Originally published on: manif-est.info (in french)

A lot of bad things have been said about the Olympic Games – and rightly so – for a long time now. They were already crap in London and Rio, in Albertville and Beijing, they were already the place for the exaltation of nationalism in Berlin in 1936, and it’s a safe bet that we would even have been considered them bad in ancient Greece. However, the Olympic Committee is not always devoid of common sense, and knows how to recognize, appreciate and value local customs. Such is the case with the forthcoming arrival of the Olympic Flame in the south of the Meuse département.

On June 29, 2024, the “Flame Relay” will pass through our verdant countryside. One might legitimately ask why. It’s true that an event lasting less than a day, whose cost (responsibility of the département) exceeds the Department Council’s annual budget for sport, might seem surprising. And then, when you think of the Meuse, you don’t think directly of athletics or javelin throwing, let alone tennis or breakdancing (yes, it’s an Olympic sport now). Of course, the bicycle pedal was invented in Bar-le-Duc, but that’s not enough to label it a “Land of Games”.

Greece: Freedom to the revolutionaries Pola Roupa and Nikos Maziotis, honour to the fighter of the Revolutionary Struggle organization Lambros Foundas.

by Dimitris Chatzivasiliadis

The anniversary of the battle of Daphne, where the anarchist rebel Lambros Foundas fell, is a day of revolutionary awakening. Comrade Foundas, as a member of the rebel Revolutionary Struggle Organization, stood at the forefront of the struggle against the state and capital.

With absolute consistency to the end. Taking on the social task of organizing armed counter-attack against the structures of terrorism, tyranny and exploitation, is the moment when the fighter crosses the threshold of established conventions that keep humanity bent and completes his existence in the service of common freedom. Rebel Lambros Foundas is living proof of the invincibility of the revolutionary struggle. The witness Lambros Foundas exposes the reconciliation with the world of power. The common responsibility is evident and will continue to be evident until the fall of the state.
