Patra city,Greece: Expropriation in a supermarket and distribution at a street farmer’s market

Patra Now – Expropriation in a supermarket and distribution at a farmer’s market.
Today 3/3 in the morning, an expropriation of essential goods from the supermarket AB Vassilopoulos in the area of Ag. Sofias and their distribution in the adjacent market took place. Texts were handed out and fliers were thrown. The following is the announcement:
Everything belongs to us because everything is stolen
Block / self-reduce the increased cost of living that is the result of the bosses’ crisis being passed on to our backs
At the present juncture all of us at the bottom of society are experiencing an unprecedented attack by the economic and political elite. State and capital are seeking in every way to pass on the cost of the deep ongoing capitalist crisis to the poor, the unemployed, the precariously employed, the low-paid, pensioners and immigrants. An attack that has been going on for years with the slashing of wages, pensions and welfare structures, with the dismissals and squeezing of workers, the dismantling of public health, education, transport, the plundering of nature for their “development” and profits. The health crisis of covid-19 magnified this attack and it is now understood that the pandemic is primarily hitting the people of our class. The rich are getting richer, the poor and the dispossessed are groaning under the burden of unemployment, precarious work, boss terror in the workplace and the frightening rise in the cost of living.

WE ARE NOTHING-WE CAN DO EVERYTHING
“We shook the hand of so many comrades! When sometimes we despair
we feel like a knife piercing our palm
the memory of their hand.
And then when we are doing what we have to do, there is a sensation
Something sure and steady in the palm of our hand
as if we held the whole world in our hands.”
TO MEET…
…exchanging looks of complicity behind burning barricades, on nightly dates,
in joint processes, sharpening our consciences, creating comradeships, evolving our strategies, upgrading our practices, gnawing at the foundations of the edifice of domination.
Making mistakes, learning from our “defeats”, alongside old and new comrades.
…WE HAVE THE REASONS
The persecution and imprisonment of fighters will always be another reason for new hostilities.
one more occasion to search, to experiment, to discover unknown paths, one more occasion to attack, taking up a fighting position in the social war that rages, translating our every refusal and desire into action.
THE PRISONERS OF WAR
ARE THE FLESH OF THE FLESH OF THE REVOLUTIONARY COMMUNITY

AND WE WILL DO EVERYTHING TO BRING THEM BACK.

CONSTANT AND CONTINUOUS STRUGGLE WITH ALL MEANS.
UNTIL THE LAST STRONGHOLD OF POWER IS TORN DOWN.
UNTIL ANARCHY.

Athens, Greece: Responsibility claim for the arson attack on a company vehicle of UNISON Facilities Management in Exarcheia

Regenaration, development, gentrification. Concepts that have become embedded as spikes in the discourse and action of the antagonist movement, must be seen as another aspect of the attack of the ruling classes against the oppressed class. Capital aims at subordinating the whole of life to its exploitation and reproduction, and therefore organizes more and more aspects of human activity in this logic.
The process of enclosing community/public spaces for the purpose of capital’s reproduction is a process as old as capitalism. In recent decades we have experienced the long deconstruction of social democratic management, with the mediation of the state receding, giving more room for the defensive subordination of activities of social life to capital. In this sense, a concerted attack has been launched in recent years on public spaces, squares, parks in the metropolises, transferring their management from the state to private individuals, with the aim of creating new fields of profitability for capital.
This is exactly the condition of the sale of a series of public green spaces by the Municipality of Athens to the company UNISON Facilities Services, such as the hills (Strefi, Filopappou, Lycabettus, Turkovounia), squares (Protomaya, Victoria, Kypseli, Attiki, Ameriki, Drakopoulos, Agios Panteleimon), parks (Platonos Academia, Kyrpo, Patision, Goudi) and pedestrian streets (Agia Zoni, Fokionos Negri). UNISON (formerly ISS), belongs to a category of a new type of company that, through contractor privatisations, is simultaneously financed by state-taxed, collectively produced surplus value, and at the same time intensifies the exploitation of its workers through miserable wages, flexible working hours and violation of workers’ rights.

Athens, Greece: Poster – Solidarity Demo at Korydallos Prison Saturday 26 February 2022

Call of Solidarity Demo at Korydallos Prison Saturday 26 February 1pm
“Battles have casualties. War has its casualties. But nothing is given to us, nothing is given to us without bloodshed because we reach out our hand. Nothing is won by prayers.”
Thanos Hatziangelou

On Tuesday 8/2, two comrades were arrested following an operation by the “anti-terrorist police”. The reason was the arson at the “Foundation for National and Religious Reflection”. In the house where they were arrested, “incriminating” evidence was found which, under the Terror Law, acquires a “criminal” character. Later, another comrade was arrested. All 3 were remanded in Korydallos prison, prosecuted under the Terror Law (187a) for their participation in the “Anarchist Action Organization”, arson at the “Foundation for National and Religious Concern” and other charges. Comrade Thanos Hatziangelou claimed responsibility for this particular arson and the findings in the house, Comrade Georgia Voulgari defended her choice of having a supporting role in carrying out the action, and Comrade Panos Kalaitzis, whose only connection to the case is his relationship with the house and his comradely, friendly and collegial relations with Th. Hatziangelou, denied all charges.
The war against the state and capital is unceasing, unrelenting and multifaceted. The struggle for equality, freedom and solidarity may have losses, but it will be victorious because justice is on our side.

Exarcheia, Athens, Greece: taking responsibility for the burning of the Exarcheia Police Station on 4.2.22, by Revolutionary memory

We take responsibility for the burning of the Exarcheia Police Station on 4.2.22. The attack was carried out by a group of comrades who, armed with the weapons of comradeship and organization, defied the police State and succeeded in destroying the myth of omnipotence that the police systematically cultivate in this area. We attacked with more than 10 Molotov cocktails at the outpost and the entrance of the police station, driving the cops outside in disorderly flight.
A few words about the incident
The tragic management of the pandemic, the sweeping changes it has brought about and the developments of the period are revealing what it has done to the social base. Inflation, poverty, energy poverty, the daily deaths from COVID-19 which have reached 24,000 are the results of capitalist management in order to recover the profitability of capital.

Greece, Rethymno,Crete: Claiming responsibility for the attack with stones and paint at the courts by Antiauthoritarians

On 9/2 comrades Stathopoulos and Hatzivassiliadis will be tried in second degree. At the same time we do not forget Ch. Mandzouridis who is being tortured in the psycho cells of Korydallos.
Of course we do not expect any justice from the judges and their informers but we remain in solidarity with every political prisoner. The only answer to the culture of incarceration is to attack until we see prisoners of war in the street again. We therefore take responsibility for the attack with stones and paint at the court of Rethymno in the morning of 9/2 as a minimal sign of solidarity with every insurgent and every person who takes the road of illegality.

AGAINST THE STATE, CAPITAL, RACISM, WAR AND NATIONALISM (Greece)

via: athens.indymedia
AGAINST THE STATE, CAPITAL, RACISM, WAR AND NATIONALISM
The Greek State, as the border guard of Fortress Europe, has over time followed and expressed in the most emphatic way the anti-immigration policy represented by the European Union. Thus, while at the global level, the political and economic bosses are attempting an unconditional attack against the peoples of the capitalist periphery through wars, military operations, the overthrow of regimes and the imposition of new ones, with the aim of controlling entire regions, the sources of wealth and the exploitation of entire populations, condemning millions of people to misery, poverty, disease and uprooting, at home the far-right neoliberal government of the South-West, from the Evros fence and the concentration camps, to the shipwrecks in the Aegean and illegal repatriations, is expanding its murderous strategy on land and water borders, with the aim of controlling and preventing the flow of refugees and migrants. So as the number of pushbacks from Greece almost doubled in 2021, the number of arrivals on the islands is at its lowest level in recent years, with people being pushed towards other, more deadly routes via the Central and Western Mediterranean and the Atlantic.
Over the past year, the rise in forced returns using violence signals a continuation of the inhuman, degrading and humiliating treatment of refugees and migrants, with theft of personal belongings, stripping, beatings and even abductions in illegal detention centres until their illegal return. The Greek regime, with the assistance of the murderous Frontex mechanism, attempts to obstruct and sink boats and ships carrying refugees and is responsible for the deaths of hundreds of migrants and missing persons in Aegean waters, including children and infants, most recently in the shipwrecks in Paros, Antikythera and Folegandros( Greek islands)

Greece: Panhellenic day of actions on 4th February 22, for anarchist comrades Vangelis Stathopoulos and Dimitris Chatzivasiliadis

Panhellenic day of actions on 4th February 22, for anarchist comrades Vanggelis Stathopoulos and Dimitris Chatzivasiliadis
In the case of the anarchists V.Stathopoulos and D. Chatzivasiliadis, we see both solidarity and consistent revolutionary action being struck. For our part, we categorically state that we defend both. That we will stand up to the criminal extermination of the two militants and that we will not give in to the new normality that they want to impose on us.
We support the call for a microphone gathering meeting at the Propylaia center of Athens , on Friday 4 February at 17:00, as part of the nationwide day of action for the anarchists V.Stathopoulos and D.Chatzivasiliadis, as well as at the Court of Appeal in Loukareos Street, on Wednesday 9 February at 9:00, where they will be tried in the second instance.
