SOLIDARITY TO THE PROSECUTED COMRADE VAGGELIS STATHOPOULOS (ATHENS ,GREECE)

On Friday 8th of November 2019, the anarchist comrade Vaggelis Stathopoulos is arrested by the Greek Anti-terrorist Service with the excuse that he took part on a robbery in a gaming agency in Holargos, Athens on the 21st of October2019. During the next day of his arrest, within a crescendo of terror-hysteria reaction, he is suddenly being announced that he is also accused of participating in the organization “Revolutionary Self-defense”. Our comrade’s arrest is accompanied with an alloy of radio and mud towards his face, from the government’s right hand, the massive media, through various press publications and television reports which reproduce fabricated accusations and present him as the “domestic terrorist” and “the Kung Fu teacher who gives classes of military defense in order to create an army”.
Τhroughout the whole period of his pre-trial detention, we witness the “theater of the absurd” which the Anti-terrorist Service and the Ministry of Citizen Protection has carelessly set up, since every single clue that they are trying to present is shaked down – DNA tests, accusations for specific attacks of the “Revolutionary defense” organization during which the comrade was in prison for a prior case,  supposed evidence for his participation in the robbery while at the specific time he was teaching in his martial arts’ school in the center of Athens, and so on…
From the first moment of his arrest, our comrade is denying  the accusations, both of the robbery and his participation in the “Revolutionary defense” organization, and as he has personally stated: “All this spectacle in my face is part of a repressive policy of the current government against the anarchists and the anarchist movement. The authorities spread lies for the way we act as anarchists; basically I have been charged with half of the criminal code simply because I showed solidarity in an injured person.Under the spectrum of solidarity I admit that I have helped a person who was injured. I am an anarchist, I am an active member of the anarchist movement… I deny all the accusations for the robbery and the “revolutionary defense”.

#KillTheBill: Bristol legal support in the streets and in the courts (UK)

Bristol Defendant Solidarity is organising this fundraiser.
 People in Bristol standing up to unprecedented new police powers have faced immense police violence  since Sunday March 21st. The last week has seen police charging crowds with horses, releasing attack dogs on protesters, pepper-spraying people indiscriminately and physically attacking journalists. Those arrested will face harsh charges as the state seeks to make an example of them.

We believe that no one taking part in protests for social justice should face the system alone. If you do too, please donate.

Hidden behind the police statements branding demonstrators “a mob of animals” and the later-retracted claims of officers facing broken bones and punctured lungs, is the hard work of activists pushing for police accountability. Bristol Defendant Solidarity  (BDS) have been working for over a decade to support people facing police and state violence as a consequence for their activism. Now, we need your help.

We are aiming to raise an initial £15,000 with a stretch target of £30,000 to support people following Bristol’s #KillTheBill protests.

Avon & Somerset Police already have a long history of committing violence in our communities. The proposed Police, Crime, Sentencing and Courts Bill currently making its way through Parliament would give police sweeping new powers  to criminalise protests, intensify the attack on Gypsy, Roma and Traveller communities way of life, and increase the harsh effects of the criminal justice system with longer sentencing. And while people take to the streets to oppose it, the police have cracked down hard on the demonstrations.

Depending on need, and in this priority order, we will use this fund to support those targeted by police in connection with the Kill the Bill protests by:

• Supplying money for legal fees not covered by legal aid.
• Paying any travel costs to court.
• Covering loss of earnings sustained as a result of attending court.
• Supporting legal cases made against the police.
• Helping pay rent to ensure they can return to their homes after any custodial sentences.

In the unlikely event of there being any money left over from this, it will be held by BDS to support people in a similar way in the future. Solidarity is our best defence.

Genoa, Italy – In solidarity with those searched for organized crime

On 24th February the Digos of Genoa raided 5 members of the Collettivo Autonomo Lavoratori Portuali (CALP, Autonomous Collective of Dock Workers) and of Genova Antifascista [Antifascist Genoa]. The investigative hypothesis of the police is criminal association (art. 416) aimed at opposing the fascist presence in the city and arms trafficking in the port of Genoa, with particular reference to the struggle against the transit of ships owned by Saudi company Bahri, with their cargos of weapons destined for wars.
We express our solidarity with the comrades under investigation not only because we think the struggle against fascists and against all wars is right and legitimate but also because we were together in these struggles – on many occasions. The Police are trying to present these struggles as the work of a restricted group of people who “exploit” others, and this attempt must not pass.

Communique from 325 Collective on the Repressive Attack upon International Counter-Information (UK)- en/ gr/ it / fr/es/de

On 29.03.21 the Dutch police raided the data center that holds the nostate.net server, seizing the server itself as part of a criminal investigation into ‘terrorism’. Nostate.net is a collective that provided a platform for international movement websites from prisoner solidarity groups, multiple campaign collectives, anti-summit pages and international counter-information. Significant sites that used nostate.net as a platform that have been targeted by this repressive attack by the Dutch police are Anarchist Black Cross Berlin, Montreal Counter-Info, Northshore Counter-Info, Act For Freedom Now! (now re-activated on noblogs.org https://actforfree.noblogs.org/) and 325.
We as a collective are aware that this was not just an attack by the Dutch police, but was done in coordination with the Counter Terrorism Unit of the United Kingdom in connection with their recent repressive attacks upon the anarchist circles in this country. Not only have they been threatening ourselves, but recently threatened nostate.net unless they shut down our site. Along with this they demanded information be given to them of the identity of anyone involved in 325. The extent that the authorities will go to attack us and anyone they suspect of aiding us is of no surprise to us, the examples through history of state forces repressing anyone who dares to stand and fight them are numerous.
This repressive attack should be seen as an attack upon all
counter-information, on anarchist circles internationally. Under the present ongoing environment of Covid-19 and the repressive actions of states around the world, it is no surprise to us that they work together on an international level, the recent repression against anarchist comrade Gabriel Pomba da Silva, with co-operation between Spanish, Italian and Portuguese states, is a more than obvious recent example. On days like today are many brothers and sisters that come to memory… Time has passed, but at every moment of my life they are always present in my being, picking up all the experience and wisdom of their Steps. To mention each one would make for an extensive list, the diverse circumstances of their falls shows that times are not so different in how much the blows that power executes those who challenge the comfort of the powerful.
Blood, pain and rage is transformed into a path of destruction and creation that has no end. From this humble reflection, I take air and continue irreducibly.
Understand that imprisonment is just a probable scenario of the Life, for those who choose to break the normality and legality of power.
Punishment and isolation as a method of achieving repentments will be the result they will find for our undominated bodies and minds.
The continuity of the fight is a permanent construction, infinite and Multiform with insurrectionary and insolent character that confronts oppression, Misery and exploitation.
From this place, the call will always be for the exacerbation of the conflict, preparation, feeling and living subversive praxis, breaking the old, dogmatic, moralistic, patriarchal, authoritarian and toxic logics that only cause damage and mistrust inside collectives and conscious individuals.

6 Months Undead. Liebig is Everywhere! (Germany , Berlin)

Six months since Liebig 34, as the constellation of the haus on the corner of Liebigstrasse and Rigaerstrasse, ceased to exist. Six months since years of struggle culminated in an eviction in the morning, a riot in the evening, countless other acts of solidarity -including an attack on the ringbahn which left it out of service for days- and ultimately the loss of a global symbol of anarcho-queer-
feminism.
But six months on and Liebig lives; in Bristol where last week a demonstration -following the kidnap and murder of Sarah Everard by a Metropolitican police officer- against gendered violence and a new authoritarian policing bill escalated into a night of violence against the police; in London where the same struggle resulted in the occupation of a disused police station; in Mexico City on International Women’s day, where militant feminists broke down the fence surrounding the National Palace and set fire to the riot cops‘ shields; in the last week in Berlin where the eviction of Meuterei and the ongoing threat to Rigaer 94, Potse, Koepi Wagenplatz and other projects saw demonstrating and attacks. With the haus gone Liebig is at once nowhere and everywhere.

On the constant struggle against reclusion and the war to the death against the prison society and those who support it
To live resisting reclusion for days, weeks, months, years, whole decades is a constant and millimetric struggle against those who keep us behind bars, strengthening our will to persist and keep going. These caged days are not a simple picture of reclusion but rather the everyday struggle of a prisoner where there is no real resistance without concrete praxis, no matter how words embellish falsified reality with the skills of a scriptwriter.
A long inalienable path of conflict against every authority, inside and outside the conflict, continuing a practice of combat written in rebel and subversive blood, insurrectional and autonomous, warrior blood of word and action. Because by sustaining a constant confrontation with the world of power and merchandise, authority and borders, State, prison and capital, we give continuity to the memory of attack of the libertarian autonomous subversive resistance of the last 25 years.

Anarchist Leonardo Landi released from Sollicciano prison (Italy, March 25, 2021)

Every now and then a good news: yesterday, March 25, 2021, our comrade Leonardo Landi was released from Sollicciano prison (Florence) for the end of his sentence. We embrace him again with affection, and with unchanged anger against all prisons!
As long as even one is behind bars, we will never be free!

Note: Anarchist Leonardo Landi was arrested on February 26, 2019 following a cassation sentence related to a trial for a robbery that took place in 2007, for which some anarchists were arrested and investigated in the context of the “Ardesia” repressive operation. He was convicted to a residual sentence of 2 years and 8 months. The other convicted defendants served their sentences. During these years he was imprisoned in Lucca, Vibo Valentia and Sollicciano (Florence) prisons.

The first day of zizanio has come to an end! The corner of Fylis and Ferron was filled with life by solidarians who supported the projects, neighboors who came to meet and greet and bypassers who contributed to our effort to gather first need products. The attendance and participation of the people invited as well as of the people who spontaneously approached the space was of great practical and sentimental value to each and everyone of us! The need to support the project continues especially during the first days which are crucial for both its progress and in terms of repression. Our rendez-vous is renewed for (today) 4/4 from 10.00 for collective works in our new space.
P.S. Our most immediate need is furniture(tables, chairs, carpets, cushions)

Στην Φυλής και Φερών η Βικτώρια έχει ένα νέο κατειλημμένο κοινωνικό χώρο. Ένας χώρος για την αυτοοργάνωση της γειτονιάς, για κοινωνικές παρεμβάσεις, για συλλογική αντίσταση και για την οικοδόμηση μιας κοινότητας.
Ας συναντηθούμε στο χώρο αυτό για να ανταλλάξουμε σκέψεις και ανησυχίες, φαγητό, καφέ και ρούχα και για οποίον άλλο λόγο μπορούμε να φανταστούμε. Για χαριστικά παζάρια και δωρεάν κουρέματα, για προβολές και καφενεία, για αυτομορφώσεις και διάβασμα, για workshops και συνελεύσεις. Να χαρούμε το χώρο αυτό ως ένα βήμα προς την απελευθέρωση όλο και περισσότερων δημόσιων χώρων, να αρπάξουμε την αρχή αυτή ως αυτές/οί που διαμορφώνουν και ορίζουν τους αγώνες τους και τις ζωές τους. Αυτές/οί που δεν περιμένουν από άλλους ανθρώπους ή θεσμούς, που δεν αναμένουν κάποιες πιο ευνοϊκές συνθήκες για να πράξουν.
Με τα Ζιζάνια σκοπεύουμε να δημιουργήσουμε ένα ζωντανό χώρο μακριά από τη ρατσιστική, σεξιστική, καπιταλιστική βία του κράτους και της σημερινής κοινωνίας. Οραματιζόμαστε ένα χώρο αλληλεπίδρασης μεταξύ ατόμων διαφορετικών καταγωγών, ταυτοτήτων, ηλικιών, γλωσσών, απόψεων. Τις συνθήκες αυτές πρέπει να τις δημιουργήσουμε και να τις διαφυλάξουμε όλες/οι μαζί, συναντώντας η μία τον άλλο, δυναμώνοντας τις συντροφικές μας σχέσεις, διασυνδέοντας τις κοινοτητές μας και τους αγώνες μας. Για πολύ καιρό ονειρευόμασταν κάτι τέτοιο -σίγουρα δεν είμαστε οι μόνες/οι- και τώρα ήρθε η ώρα να πράξουμε. Με τις σκέψεις αυτές, σας προσκαλούμε να αναδείξετε τα δικά σας ζητήματα, να καταθέσετε τις δικές σας ιδέες, να αρχίσετε τις δικές σας πρωτοβουλίες και τους αγώνες και να συνδιαμορφώσουμε όλα μαζί το χώρο και τις λειτουργίες του.
Η Βικτώρια είναι ο τόπος που ζούμε και συναντιόμαστε και με τον έναν ή τον άλλο τρόπο βρεθήκαμε στους αγώνες της γειτονιάς. Ζώντας στη Βικτώρια έχουμε παρατηρήσει και βιώσει την πολυεπίπεδη κρίση που εξελίσσεται γύρω μας: οικονομική πίεση, μαύρη εργασία, ρατσιστική βία, καταρρέον σύστημα υγείας, περιορισμοί κυκλοφορίας και μια γενικότερη ψυχολογική κατάσταση φόβου και ανασφάλειας. Σε αυτή τη συγκεκριμένη γειτονιά, η φασιστική στροφή της Ελλάδας και της Ευρώπης είναι κάτι παραπάνω από εμφανής: εθνικιστική ρητορική, στρατιωτικοποίηση των δρόμων και των δημόσιων χώρων μας, ρατσιστική βία στο σχολικό περιβάλλον, στην χαμηλόμισθη εργασία, στη ζωή στο δρόμο και καταστολή οποιασδήποτε αντίστασης.

Your sentence doesn’t trouble us
Everything began in defence of the earth, in defence of a centuries-old campaign, in defence of the memories which that land aroused in the hearts of many inhabitants of the area. A struggle against TAP, SNAM, against the companies which through their great works have become owners of land, legalized usurpers.
Everything that has remained of a struggle that didn’t stop for almost two years, where day after day, night after night, we gave our all to prevent or slow down a devastation announced by the coming of TAP, are 77 years of sentences handed out at the end of a trial farce, where it seems that two years of struggle against TAP have transformed themselves into a struggle against the Lecce police, against the digos.
