BANDUNG — A timeline of upcoming release dates has been compiled for anarchist prisoners targeted during the state crackdowns surrounding the August–September 2025 mobilization in Bandung. These comrades were criminalized over direct actions, including arson targeting Hana Bank and the West Java DPRD Building, as well as state persecution directed at administrators of the Black Bloc Zone platform—widely framed by
mainstream media under the “Chaos Star” narrative.

Upcoming Releases: The “Chaos Star” Direct Action Cases

Several comrades imprisoned in connection with the direct action cases are approaching their scheduled freedom:

•Rhexcy: Scheduled for release on July 29, 2026
•Tebe & Iyong: Scheduled for release on July 31, 2026
•Jalus: Scheduled for release on August 3, 2026
•Apip: Estimated release in September 2026

Status of Other Imprisoned Comrades
Beyond the primary arson cases, other comrades captured in related
struggles face varying conditions of state captivity:

Gentong Police Post Propane Bomb Case:

•Adit & Nopal: Estimated for release next year (2027).
•Pem & Herdy: Released several months ago.

Black Bloc Zone Administrators:
•Dana & Abul: Already released from state custody.
•Komar: Currently re-imprisoned by state forces in Surabaya, with
release anticipated this coming September.
