HANDS OFF OUR 3 COMRADES

In recent days we have been living in a fear-mongering situation created by the government and promoted by the media on the occasion of the arson attacks in Thessaloniki, the instrumentalisation of a woman’s death and the reopening of the MARFIN case after sixteen years. The target is the anarchist space with narratives of the style “someone starts with tricks and paint, moves on to stones and Molotov cocktails and ends up with bombs and pistols”.

16 years later, the state brings the Marfin case back under the media and repressive spotlight. A story that ND constantly brings up in an attempt to criminalize the huge and intensely conflictual mobilizations that were taking place at the time against the austerity measures that were attempting to put the burden of the cost of the economic crisis on the shoulders of those from below.

16 years later, the convenient target upon which the government is attempting to change its pre-election agenda to fields more useful to it, is once again the anarchist space and more specifically four comrades whose homes were raided, two of whom have been arrested. The “evidence” that has appeared in the media so far breaks records of ridicule. From the anonymous phone calls that we have -unfortunately- become accustomed to, we have moved on to anonymous emails, which also fit the times. AI software has been deployed after 16 years to match photos from… vacations showing  similar clothing.

16 years later, the issues remain the same. In the face of the state’s death policies, which have made daily life unliveable, the attempted execution of a man for running away from a roadblock, the workers murdered in labour camps throughout the country, and the war operations that are drenching populations across the globe in blood, the answer is struggle, perseverance, conflict. And the anarchist space has been and will be part of this, with all means.

For the invasions of our homes 

This morning 11/7, the criminal organisation State launched a coordinated pogrom against the anarchist space in Chania in Grete, Athens and Thessaloniki. Comrades were targeted and arrests were made. This new, upgraded episode of repression is a desperate attempt by the ruling gang to reverse the climate of social anger against it.

Today there was an attempt to cast a shadow over the assassination by dozens of brazen cops, with 13 bullets in the back of a young man of twenty years who was running to save himself; as well as to cover up the case of cops raping an eleven-year-old girl at Omonia Police Station. Two current events that outline the nature of a government of murderers and rapists. Responsible for the drowning of thousands of immigrants, the massacre of hundreds of workers in factories and industrial zones as happened today in Aspropyrgos. Capital and government are getting rich at the expense of a people who are becoming absolutely expendable day by day. They are hard at work to reverse this climate so that the murderers appear as victims and the path is well known.

Targeting and arresting without evidence, to create impressions. But political games with our lives will not succeed so easily. In this climate, our homes were invaded this morning without any justification and digital material such as mobile computers and storage media were stolen. They did not do us the honour of telling us whether the invasions of our homes were related to any particular case, or what exactly they are looking for. All that remains is a pervasive threat and our hostage situation, as well as a lesson to our children who experienced all this, about what the criminal gang of the state is.

The collaborators of the genocide of the Palestinian people, and their minions, the journalists, have no right to speak about justice. We have every right to speak about life.

Back off snitches, forward comrades

PS: 11/7/26 the Anti-Terrorism Service and the Directorate for Combating Organized Crime carried out operations in Athens, Thessaloniki and Chania in Grete  almost simultaneously, during which 5 comrades were arrested, while a warrant has been issued for another person. The 2 in Athens were charged with the Marfin arson in 2010 and the remaining 3 with the arson attack on the house of New Democracy official in Thessaloniki, Aphrodite Nestora, on July 1, 2026, one of three coordinated attacks.

Terror hysteria is hitting your receivers again, and anonymous emails to the electronic addresses of the GADA,( police headquarters) at the time that a 20-year-old man has  died from bullets to the head by cops. It may be some diabolical coincidences that just happen to show up the modus operandi of Mr. Michalis Minister of Citizen Protection, and his gang. Perhaps the Anti-Terrorist Party will call elections from now on, so that the prime minister doesn’t tire himself out with proclamations.

The comrades have our undivided solidarity. Let us stand as a barrier to the cops’ pogroms against the anarchist and anti-authoritarian space.
