We take responsibility for the 6 following arsons:
• The arson at the Alpha Bank ATM in the early hours of December 31st on Artakis Street
• The arson at an Alpha Bank ATM in the early hours of January 7 on Siniosoglou Street
• The ATM arson in the early hours of January 13 on Antigonidon Street
In a world where everything is programmed to work like clockwork for the benefit of the system, there will always be pockets of rebellion. As anarchists in action, we do not want to limit ourselves to clashes with cops on marches (which we obviously consider necessary) but choose to open new dialectics on the street. We refuse to wait for social conditions to mature in order to attack and we propose direct action as a perspective for attacking in the here and now.
Through it, we give substance to our desires by choosing the time, place and target we want to strike, expanding the anarchist rebellion throughout the metropolis. For us, the authentic feeling of freedom is experienced through aggressive action, which is the expression of a continuous internal process and our unwavering desire for an anarchist life on our own terms.
In the society of control, oppression and subjugation where everything is measured in economic terms and people’s needs have been turned into commodities, banks and ATMs will always be targets. Anarchy was, is and will be dangerous for this rotten world, which the rulers know very well. Anarchy has this dangerous and hostile character towards the authoritarian complex because of the actions and attitude to life chosen by the comrades who experience its flame within them.
It is possible that many of these comrades have left this world or are imprisoned, but they are always present at every roadblock, in every arson, in every broken window. They are with us, every time we conquer fear, beside us in every aggressive action as WE ARE BUILDING ANARCHY TOGETHER.
PS1: Citizen snitches who play the role of cops will be treated with the same hostility that we show towards cops.
