Solidarity with Daniela Klette. For a Black August
Yes, words are important. But remaining only in this, in words, serves nothing, only filling ones mouth with air, words lose their meaning. When we say give solidarity and we want freedom for prisoners or when we demand the freedom of the palestinian people, we have to be coherent. If we only analyze reality, if we only confront ideas, if we remain in only our intentions, we remain halfway across the street. There was a time in which anarchists connected word and action, theory and practice. And this was our essence as well as our way of distinguishing ourselves from others. While the politicians spoke and spoke and we scorned them for this, for their charlatanism, for their despicable changes of direction according to convenience, and definitely for their innocuousness in changing the status quo.
We said to them then and we say it now, that theory has no value without practice, just as ambivalence nor lack of principles has no value, and nor does wasting time in mysticism. The time for thinking without acting is over, the time to analyze without the necessary consequences is over. At last, the hour was already upon us said the old anarchists once upon a time, at last we do something now. Enough talk, enough inaction, say the Palestinians while they are massacred on a daily basis. And so we also say enough, freedom for the imprisoned comrades.
Everything is already written. Everything is analyzed. Everything is more than clear. What stops us from passing to action? What paralyzes us from being consistent between our ideas and decisions? Could it be the fear of being worse? Worse than what? We abhor the western way of life, work, consumption and obedience. While our fallen comrades have given the best of their lives to change this shit we live in, while our comrades are pursued or incarcerated, we can’t remain silent or do the so-called protests that smell of mothballs, a museum of protest or worse still of corpses.
If history tells us that all struggle to change this existent, which is increasingly more militaristic, authoritarian and exclusionary, is redirected, crushed or assimilated, let’s make it intransigent, uncontrollable and not assimilable in practice.
For this and to start ourselves, we decided to take responsibility here and now for continuing to practice the revolutionary gymnastics so beloved by our dear comrades of yesterday, today and tomorrow. We’ll see if they can assimilate these practices; we’ll see if they can stop the rage that grows within us; we’ll see if they can control the social tsunami that approaches. It may be that in this civilized Europe, there are no more social revolutions, of workers and peasants, maybe there there will be no more revolts of conscious masses. We don’t care. Like the french revolutionaries said when they went to storm the bastille, at the time a prison, with the intention of freeing those detained there: whatever will be will be… and we won’t just watch it happen.
So, fraternizing with our relations Belén Navarrete, Luciano Pitronello and Luciano Balboa, we participate in the international call for a Black August.
On Monday 25 August, we threw stones at the window of the German insurance subsidiary Allianz, in Altsasu-Alsasua (Nafarroa), as a minimum gesture of solidarity with the recently arrested German comrade Daniela Klette.
