Stop the relaunch, stop the new EPR.
No nuclear here or anywhere else!

This week of April 2025 we expressed our opposition to the construction of 2 additional reactors at the nuclear power plant of Bugey on walls and bridges of the Ambérieu-en-Bugey region.

Messages against nuclear power and its relaunching have been plastered all over the walls of the area and we wanted to add our own.

At a time when the only opposition tolerated is participation in a public debate rigged and prepared in advance, we are taking back some space and power and are shouting our opposition to a nuclearised world and sacrificed land on the walls.

We take back the words of a communique that appeared last autumn in Rebellyon [and also reported here; Translator’s note.] :
« Our goal is to make the presence and danger of nuclear power in our territory visible ; that those who live in it or pass through it question themselves about this industry and the consequences it has for our lives; that the industrialists be aware that the population are monitoring its toxic activities and that it will struggle fiercely for the plant to be shut down and against the construction of new reactors on the site.
