City of Volos,Thessaly: Actions of solidarity with N. Romanos (Greece)

Actions of solidarity with N. Romanos

On 18/11, the anti-terrorist police arrested N. Romanos on the grounds of a connection to the Ampelokipi case. His arrest was ordered due to a fingerprint found in a bag inside the apartment.

So there is “evidence” in an apartment that had been completely altered by the explosion, putting it at the centre of yet another state crackdown. After all, the state apparatus is accustomed to using various methods (e.g. DNA, anonymous phone calls, etc.) to implicate militants and insurgents in tales of “terrorism” and then imprison them, repeatedly showing its vindictiveness and its attempt to exterminate them.

As a consequence, with the arrest of Nikos a new horror show begins from the parrots of the media, who indiscriminately and obscenely continue to invade the lives of our comrades.

They convict those who resist with insufficient evidence and mudslinging, while glossing over state crimes like the Tempe murder, for which all evidence of anything not right about them and their profits has magically disappeared. As a small sign of solidarity we hung banners outside the courts of Volos and went out to spray in the centre of the city.

NO ONE ALONE IN THE HANDS OF THE STATE
FREEDOM TO NIKOS ROMANOS
HANDS OFF THOSE IN STRUGGLE

Comrades in solidarity
