Claim for incendiary barricade and stone-throwing Rome – 2nd November 2023
In the night of 2 November we placed and set fire to tyres to block the traffic in front of the headquarters of Terna spa of via Egidio Galbani in both directions and threw stones to break the windows. Terna is the main company in Italy as regards the construction and maintenance of electrical infrastructure, but also operates abroad in countries such as Chile.
Terna is not only responsible for the environmental devastation and pollution resulting from the construction of power lines and related transformer stations, as a leading player in the process of electrifying the world as a result of the unhealthy idea of progress that this deadly system propagandises, but is also promoter of the “green revolution” caused by the recent needs of restructuring of capitalism which will only bring further exploitation of ecosystems and people. Denouncing its responsibilities is one of the objectives of our action.
This action is to be included in the international campaign for the liberation of Marcelo Villarroel. Marcelo is an anarchist prisoner in the prisons of the State of Chile, imprisoned after being in hiding in 2007 for a series of bank expropriations.
He was sentenced to over 40 years without the possibility of prison benefits because he was considered responsibile for some actions that took place during the dictatorship in Chile and therefore sentenced with the military laws. In spite of all the rhetoric, Chilean democracy demonstrates perfect continuity with the dictatorial regime when it talks of striking those who act without mediation for the end of all oppression and exploitation caused by the State and Capital. That is why we are adding our voice to the chorus of actions and initiatives for his immediate liberation.

We take this opportunity to send a greeting in solidarity to the anarchists Francisco Solar and Monica Caballero who in recent months have undergone a long trial for the placing of explosive devices against institutional targets in the context of the revolt of 2019 in Chile, which they have recently been found guilty of.
