“Leitmotiv”, internationalist anarchist paper

This newspaper is an expression of solidarity to the comrades under investigation and subjected to precautionary measures in the ”op. Scripta scelera”.

The drafting of this paper has involved the participation of comrades who have always supported anarchist prisoners and revolutionary practices from dissociation and obscurantism towards comrades under investigation for actions considered “striking”. At a time like the present, where the repression against anarchists and the anarchist press has become acute, we welcomed the proposal to bring out a paper that is “provocative” and a challenge to the Genovese prosecutor and the DDAA led by Federico Manotti, a little man, servant of the state.

Leitmotiv, is the name we wanted to give this single issue of the paper as it traces and follows the same themes and lines as the internationalist anarchist fortnightly Bezmotvny.
Leitmotiv would have come out earlier if we had not come up against cop obstructionism, perhaps due to our superficiality; the day we were due to pick up copies at a commercial printer’s we were contacted by the owner who informed us that he had been contacted by the carabinieri.

To cut a long story short, the result was that the copies of the newspaper were not given to us because the owner of the printshop had been intimidated by the carabinieri who had notified him that he was printing a newspaper with anarchist, subversive contents and that they needed to see the invoices.

The printer told us clearly that he feared eventual repercussions against his business and his workers.

Our superficiality was in not having learned from the lockdown of 2020 and made ourselves autonomous, at least concerning printed anarchist propaganda. Following this episode it has become necessary to make an effort to make this autonomy real.
Finally, for technical reasons, we have not been able to put two more pieces of news in the paper.

One is the death of murderer of migrants, Giorgio Napolitano, creator of the Turco-Napolitano prodromic law in fortifying fortress Europe and all that is derived from it such as Bossi-Fini, CIE, CPT, CPR, Security Packages, rejections, expulsions until the Cutro Decree of 2023, but above all migrants dead in the sea and in the democratic concentration camps.

We hope that somehow the women and men who conceived, voted in and served these murderers, join Napolitano as soon as possible.
The second news is the sudden disappearance of our Friend and Comrade Luca Poli.

On Saturday 17th September, Luca died due to a sudden illness during a benefit in the ex-latteria occupata [squatted dairy] in Genoa.

The resuscitation attempts of the people present and of the ambulance paramedics who subsequently arrived came to nothing.
Luca leaves a void of geniality and presence at demonstrations and protests difficult to fill.

In the society in which we live, more and more detached from concrete reality and made of plastic relationships mediated by technology, Luca left us surrounded by the warmth of many comrades.

Luca is fully part of that secular pantheon of anarchists that we will never forget, among them, Gino Lucetti who attempted to assassinate Mussolini, who died on September 17, 1943.

We dedicate this single issue of the anarchist newspaper Leitmotiv to Luca.

NOTIZIE POSTUME

Questo giornale è espressione di solidarietà ai compagni e alle compagne indagate e sottoposte a misure cautelari nell’op. Scripta scelera.

Alla stesura di questo giornale hanno partecipato compagnx che hanno sempre sostenuto i/le prigionierx anarchicx e le pratiche rivoluzionarie, lontani da dissociazioni e dall’oscurantismo voluto nei confronti di compagne e compagni indagatx per azioni reputate “eclatanti”. In questo periodo in cui la repressione verso anarchicx e verso la stampa anarchica si è acutizzata, abbiamo accolto con favore la proposta di far uscire un “giornale provocatorio” e di sfida alla procura genovese e alla DDAA capitanata da Federico Manotti, un piccolo uomo servo dello stato.

Leitmotiv, questo il nome che abbiamo voluto dare al numero unico del giornale perché ricalca e vi ricorrono gli stessi temi e le linee del quindicinale anarchico internazionalista Bezmotvny.

Leitmotiv sarebbe uscito prima se non fossimo incappati, forse per nostra leggerezza, nell’ostruzionismo sbirresco; il giorno in cui stavamo andando a ritirare le copie in una tipografia commerciale, siamo stati contattati dal proprietario che ci ha comunicato che a sua volta era stato contattato dai carabinieri.

Per farla breve, il risultato è stato che le copie del giornale non ci sono state date perché il proprietario della tipografia è stato intimidito dai carabinieri che gli facevano notare che stava stampando un giornale con contenuti anarchici, sovversivi e che bisognava vedere le fatture.

Il tipografo stesso ci ha detto chiaramente che aveva paura di eventuali ripercussioni sulla sua azienda e sui suoi lavoratori.
La nostra leggerezza è stata di non trarre insegnamento già dal lockdown del 2020 e renderci autonomi almeno nella propaganda anarchica cartacea. Dopo quest’ultimo episodio è necessario lavorare per rendere concreta questa autonomia.

Per concludere, per motivi tecnici non siamo riusciti a mettere sul giornale due notizie in più.

Una è la morte di un assassino di migranti, Giorgio Napolitano ideatore della Turco-Napolitano, legge prodromica nel fortificare la fortezza Europa e di tutto ciò che ne è derivato come la Bossi-Fini, CIE, CPT, CPR, Pacchetti Sicurezza, respingimenti, espulsioni fino ad arrivare al Decreto Cutro del 2023, ma soprattutto migranti morti in mare e nei lager democratici.

Speriamo che in qualche maniera le donne e gli uomini che hanno ideato, votato e portato a compimento questi assassinii, raggiungano Napolitano al più presto.
La seconda notizia è la scomparsa improvvisa del nostro Amico e Compagno Luca Poli.

Sabato 17 settembre, Luca, a causa di un malore improvviso durante un benefit nell’ex latteria occupata a Genova, è morto.
A nulla sono valse le operazioni di rianimo delle persone presenti e dei militi dell’ambulanza accorsi successivamente.
Luca lascia un vuoto, di simpatia e presenza a manifestazioni e presidi, difficile da colmare.

Nella società in cui viviamo sempre più avulsa dalla realtà concreta e fatta da relazioni di plastica mediate dalla tecnologia, Luca se ne è andato circondato dal calore di tante e tanti compagnx.
Luca rientra a pieno titolo in quel pantheon laico di anarchiche e anarchici che non dimenticheremo mai, tra questi, Gino Lucetti attentatore di Mussolini morto il 17 settembre 1943.
A Luca dedichiamo questo numero unico del giornale anarchico Leitmotiv.
