Berlin (Germany): double incendiary attack against the concrete industry

[On the night of Sunday to Monday, December 2 in Berlin, at around 3am, a double incendiary attack destroyed around twenty concrete trucks at two industrial sites in northern Berlin. The 8 concrete mixers torched in Gehrenseestraße (Lichtenberg district) belonged to the Mexican multinational Cemex. And the 9 concrete mixers torched on Pyramidenring (Marzahn district) belonged to the German company HeidelbergMaterials.

You may recall that these two global concrete giants had already been attacked several times in the German capital: on December 27, 2023, CEMEX was set ablaze for the first time (five concrete mixer trucks arsoned, as well as the bulk conveyor belt and a technical building near the silos), then a second time on January 19, 2024 (two excavators present on the Berlin A100 highway construction site). On March 15, 2024,HeidelbergMaterials was attacked (six concrete trucks destroyed and three excavators damaged on the A100 highway construction site).

Home Of Ghost Robotics CEO Flooded (USA)

Early thankstaking morning* we flooded the home that Ghost Robotics CEO Gavin Kenneally is trying to sell. He used to live there but seems to have moved out after the home started getting attacked.

In July his home was tagged and in October it was tagged again and windows were broken. To create more lasting damage we ran a hose from a wall faucet through a small hole we punched into a glass door and turned the water on. Ghost Robotics develops robot dogs that are used in occupied Palestine and at the US/Mexico border.

We took the fox we saw slipping under a fence as a good omen and hope the water kept running all night.

Let us each be a small drop in a liberating flood that drowns all authority!

Many are angry. Angry at the genocide in Gaza. Angry at the bombs falling on civilians, schools and hospitals. Against global military rearmament. Yesterday, three trucks were set on fire at the ThyssenPlastics plant in Berlin, and a warehouse was set on fire.

Fire alert at 6:45 a.m. on Thursday, October 24, 2024, at the Brissac quarry in the Gangeois region, north of Montpellier: metal conveyor belts used to transport ore were completely engulfed in flames at the CMSE (Carrières & Matériaux Sud-Est) extraction site operated by Colas, at Le Devois de la Vernède, on the Notre-Dame-de-Londres road.

Some fifteen conveyors were destroyed and twenty damaged, and may still be out of use. The offices, other adjoining buildings and the fleet of Colas vehicles were spared. The fifteen or so employees could find themselves out of work, while the provisional loss is estimated at 6 million euros. Fire detection experts and technicians from the criminal identification unit of the Hérault Gendarmerie are on the scene.

Today, Thursday 12/12 in the afternoon, a gathering was held at Korydallos prison against mandatory DNA collection, for which an order had been given a few days before, but also in solidarity with our comrades who were about to be subjected to this torture process.
The gathering remained for a while at the basketball courts opposite the male prison then headed opposite the women’s prison, where we heard the imprisoned comrades. Slogans were shouted and fliers were thrown.

Several explosions ripped through the night, rousing many Toulousains from their beds. On Monday, October 21, 2024, at around 4 a.m., a violent fire broke out on the premises of Spie Batignolles, located in the Gramont district of Toulouse. When firefighters arrived on the scene, seven trucks were engulfed in flames. An eighth was only just saved. The explosions heard by local residents were none other than the tires of the trucks, which were subjected to temperatures too extreme for them to withstand.
Specialized in construction work, Spie Batignolles is involved in two major projects in the Toulouse region: line C of the Toulouse metro, and the A69 highway between Toulouse and Castres. This project has been the subject of fierce protests from environmental militants for many months.
The police are investigating the incident as a crime, and the Toulouse public prosecutor’s office has opened an inquiry for “deliberate damage to private property by dangerous means”. Damage is estimated at 2 million euros.

Sabotage of Ottawa factory producing parts for Israel’s F-35 warplanes (Canada)

Earlier this week a group of people sabotaged Gastops’ factory in Ottawa, the only place in the world where engine sensors are produced for Lockheed’s F-35 combat jets — including the ones dropping 2,000 pound bombs on Gaza. We cut the wiring inside all of the heat pumps on the Gastops roof, locked them out with official Ministry of Health and Safety lock-out tags, shut off the gas, broke the handles for their systems, and cut the lines to their backup communication system on the way out.

In Martinique, rioting and looting cause at least “65 million euros” in damage to businesses

Supermarkets, warehouses, car dealerships and rental companies, electronics stores, catering establishments… The list of Martinique businesses robbed and set on fire during the nights of rioting is long and varied.

“We counted 115 businesses, for a total estimated loss – in terms of inventory and buildings – of between 65 and 75 million euros”, sums up Philippe Jock, President of Martinique’s Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI). Up to 950 employees could be affected by short-time working, according to CCI estimates, and “more than 300 jobs are at risk; some will be lost”, continues Mr. Jock. This is bad news for this island of 350,000 inhabitants, where 11% of the population was unemployed in 2023, according to data published by Insee in June.

Amtrak service between NYC and New Haven suspended due to transformer fire (USA)

An Amtrak transformer fire broke out near a Con Ed substation on the railroad’s Hell Gate Line Tuesday afternoon, suspending Amtrak travel in both directions along the Northeast Corridor between Penn Station and New Haven.

The fire, reported at a substation at Bronxdale and East Tremont Aves. in the Bronx, ignited around 2:30 p.m., causing a power loss for trains in the area, according to the FDNY.

The fire jumped from an overhead Amtrak transformer along the tracks to nearby brush, then to the parking lot of the adjacent substation, burning at least three cars.

It was a long road to get here. Very long, my brother. The handcuffs weighed heavily on the hands. The evenings when the little light bulb shook its head saying “time’s over”. We read the history of the world in small names, in some dates carved with a fingernail on the prison walls, in some childish drawings of the future dead – a heart, a bow, a ship that surely tore through time. In some verses that were left in the middle so that we could finish them, in some verses that were finished so that we wouldn’t finish them. It was a long road to get here – a difficult road. Now this road is yours. You hold it like you hold your friend’s hand and measure his pulse on the mark left by the handcuffs. Normal pulse – Sure hand – Sure road.

On 31/10, an explosive device exploded in an apartment on Arkadias Street in Ampelokipi, resulting in the death of anarchist comrade KYRIAKOS XYMITIRIS and the injury of anarchist comrade Marianna M. In the following days, a media show followed, usual for Greek conditions, which showed the way for what would follow from the counter-terrorism and the authorities in general. The state as a whole, with the cooperation of the cops-media-judicial authorities, presents the well-played scenarios about the revival of domestic terrorism, enriching them, so that the crowd watching does not get bored, with the description of ”third generation terrorism”. All of this has already led to the pre-trial detention of 5 comrades.

For our part, first of all we do not accept the term terrorism when it comes to urban guerrilla warfare and general political violence. For us, terrorism is living below the poverty line, exorbitant rents, exorbitant bills, gentrification and redevelopment, police brutality, non-functional trains, and guns that fire in the air.
