Nice (Alpes-Maritimes): electrical sabotage on the rise -France
After Cannes, Nice targeted by electrical sabotage
Le Monde/Le Parisien, May 25, 2025 (excerpt)
The day after a power cut in and around Cannes, a transformer was deliberately set on fire in Nice on Saturday night. According to a police source and the public prosecutor’s office, the transformer in question is located in the Moulins district, to the west of the city.
“On May 25, 2025, at around 2 a.m., an electrical transformer on Avenue Paul Montel in Nice was deliberately damaged and set on fire,” the public prosecutor’s office said. “Traces of tires” were found, and a source close to the case referred to ‘a broken door [of the transformer’s premises]’.
Some 45,000 households were temporarily without power in Nice and the neighboring towns of Saint-Laurent-du-Var and Cagnes-sur-Mer, said Enedis. Nice’s streetcar network was briefly impacted, with a delayed resumption in the early morning, and the airport was temporarily without power. By 6 a.m., power had been restored.
A flagrante delicto investigation has been opened for “destruction by fire in an organized gang” and entrusted to the judicial police. For the time being, there is nothing to link this fire with the events of Saturday, when 160,000 people were left without power not far from Cannes.

Volos, Greece: Attack on a bank branch by Anarchist Action Group.
In the early morning hours of Wednesday, May 28, we placed gas canisters at Alpha Bank in Larissis Street in the city of Volos.
We dedicate this action to our comrades outside but above all to those within the walls, to those who fled, to the people of our class who are killed and sacrificed daily because of the capitalist machine on the altar of profit, as well as to all the rebels of this land.

(Brazil) Barricades in Memory of anarchist Comrade Mauricio Morales

Porto Alegre.
A brief moment of chaos between May and June.
The comrade Mauricio Morales was with us.
At the end of May and beginning of June, we couldn’t help but interrupt, albeit briefly, the normality of the complacent citizens, complicit in all form of devastation and oppression. For this, we used a discarded tire and flammable materials, a few blocks away from the main plaza. Continue reading (Brazil) Barricades in Memory of anarchist Comrade Mauricio Morales
Munich (Germany): after the dog brigade, the cavalry squadron…

Four months ago, on the night of Friday January 25, 23 police vans went up in smoke in the parking lot of the police dog squad in the Bavarian capital. This happened in the west of the city, a few days before the start of the 60th Munich Security Conference, an annual forum devoted to international security issues bringing together NATO countries and their partners. This time, the incendiary attack on the police took place in the east, on Schichtlstraße in the Trudering district, home to the police cavalry squadron.
The arson attack was reported to the authorities at around 3.15 a.m. on Wednesday night (May 22), who then deployed some 70 officers and a federal police helicopter to the area in an attempt to catch the fire devils. But to no avail. The result of this attack, which the Public Prosecutor’s Office handed over to the Bavarian Central Office for Combating Extremism and Terrorism (ZET) to investigate, on the suspicion that it could be attributed to “extreme left-wing circles”? Five trucks and a trailer used to transport police horses were damaged, four of them completely destroyed, and a million euros worth of damage was caused.

LONG LIVE THE UPRISING
LET’S SPREAD THE REVOLT – FREEDOM FOR ALL!
DEMONSTRATION. SATURDAY 21ST JUNE
6pm East St Market (Walworth Road entrance) SE17 1EL
Over the last weeks a great uprising has begun in Los Angeles.
People, beyond all categories, have risen up and with their rage, courage and creativity driven back, for a moment, the military and police henchmen of the American Democracy.
Why? Because those with power are fighting a war against the people who they ruthlessly exploit to get ever richer. ‘Immigration roundups’ snatch anyone who they think they can victimise into vehicles destined for prison camps and deportation.
The people in rebellion in LA decided to act, decided not to take this mass-kidnapping lying down.
What about us in South London?
Every day glass towers are being built to surround us while immigration raids target the people who get up at 4am to hoover them.

Solidarity with Los Angeles! Arson attack on multiple NYPD vehicles. (USA)
![]()

Multiple NYPD cars were set on fire in the early, early morning of Thursday June 12th. The cars were just waiting there, practically begging for a new makeover! Tips on replicating this can be found on most counterinfo sites or just common knowledge; this was way easy. And so fun. Apologies to the community for the smell and the noise. And fuck you and haha to that pig—yeah, you know who you are.

(France) Communiqué for sabotage against electrical installations on the Côte d’Azur
Sabotage on the Côte d’Azur: And… cut!
[On the night of May 23 to Saturday, May 24, 2025 in Tanneron (Var) and Villeneuve-Loubet (Alpes-maritimes), the hydroelectric power station and a high-voltage pylon were visited, just hours before the closing of the Cannes Film Festival. The former was set on fire at around 2:45 a.m., plunging the eastern Var and western Alpes-Maritimes into darkness, and the latter collapsed in the morning after its legs were sawed off, depriving the town of Cannes and the surrounding area of electricity for a second time, this time in the middle of the day. This double attack, which Sans Nom published about yesterday, was claimed the next day by “two crews of anarchists” against the Festival and also against Thales Alenia Space, in a communiqué published on Indy Nantes].
Communiqué for sabotage against electrical installations on the Côte d’Azur
AND… CUT!
Two crews of anarchists here. We claim responsibility for the attack on electrical installations on the Côte d’Azur. On the eve of the Cannes Film Festival awards ceremony and gala evening, we sabotaged the main substation supplying the Cannes area, and sawed through the 225 kV line coming from Nice.
The aim of this action was not only to disrupt the festival, but also to cut power to Thales Alenia Space’s research centers and factories, its dozens of subcontractors, the French Tech start-ups who thought they were safe, the airport and all other industrial, military and technological establishments in the area. Sabotage and blackout at the Cannes Film Festival ( France)
[On the night of Friday to Saturday, May 24, several fires broke out at the same Biançon/Saint-Cassien extra-high-voltage hydroelectric power station in Tanneron (Var), at around 2:45 am. The fence was cut and traces of accelerant were found on site. 47,000 homes were without power, from the east of Var to the west of the Alpes-Maritimes. Then, at 10 a.m., thirty-five kilometers away, the pylon of a 225,000 volt high-voltage power line supplying the city of Cannes faltered that morning. Located in Villeneuve-Loubet (Alpes-maritimes), the 28-metre-high pylon suffered “major damage”, with three of its four pillars “sawed off”, leaving 160,000 households in and around Cannes without power.
This double sabotage resulted in a huge blackout in the south-east of France, particularly in Cannes, Antibes, Grasse, Vallauris, Mandelieu-la Napoule and Saint-Cézaire-sur-Siagne. It cut off factories, institutions, shops, elevators, traffic lights, cash dispensers, internet and television (via the modems), the Orange cell phone network (most of the cell tower’s back-up batteries lasted only two hours), railroad lines (train cancellations between Grasse and Cannes and delays between Les Arcs and Antibes), police stations (Antibes, Grasse and Cannes) and film screenings at the 78th Cannes Film Festival. In short, as summed up by a local newspaper on Sunday (Var Matin, 25/5): “Telephone network down, traffic chaotic, stations blocked, businesses at a standstill: the blackout paralyzed a whole part of the territory, just as the world’s spotlights were focused on Cannes on the closing day of the 78th Film Festival.” Power was restored from 3pm onwards, and for all homes in the region only around 4:45pm.
Investigations have been opened by the Grasse and Draguignan public prosecutor’s offices following these acts of sabotage, and the Prefect of Alpes-Maritimes has obviously condemned these “serious acts of damage to the integrity of electrical infrastructures”. Below is an overview of the initial consequences of this anonymous blackout, as seen in the regional and national press on Sunday…]

Claim for Action Carried Out at Juan Gómez Milla, Ñuñoa
Santiago, Black May 2025

16 years after the death in action of anarchist comrade Mauricio Morales, who died after the accidental detonation of the explosive device he was carrying to the police school, the antagonistic struggle against prison continues. The comrade lives in our combative memory and is with us in the deepening of the conflict.
In the afternoon, joined in affinity, we set off a prolonged combative demo, lighting barricades on fire on one of the arteries of the city, adding to the confrontation with the police, counting more than 100 molotov cocktails and devices, that efficiently responded to the projectiles of the police cars and sent the COP cowards who tried to approach on foot running.
During the action, special care was taken to spread propaganda that would break down the ideas that, naturally, go hand in hand with our actions. There was no padlock or protective barrier that we were unable to break or cut in order to drop our banners. In the same way, we managed to neutralize all the “protocols” of the internal “security” of the campus to make the most of the territory, including roofs, balconies and gates, all in our favor for combat and the safety of the action. Germany/Austria: about raids, summonses and arrests in Munich and Salzburg in February 2025
About raids, summonses and arrests in Munich and Salzburg in February 2025
(Translated from de.indymedia, April 17, 2025)
What happened?
On February 26, 2025, in and around Munich and in the Salzburg region, four homes, meeting places and storage facilities were raided by the cops on the orders of the Munich Public Prosecutor’s Office. In the days that followed, further raids were carried out. As far as we know at present, these operations targeted four defendants and witnesses in three different proceedings for encouragement/approval of criminal acts, for forming a criminal organization and for the initial suspicion of participation in incendiary attacks (See : About the repressive operation in Germany and Austria. Solidarity with the arrested anarchists). During the searches, various computers, printers, storage media, telephones and magazines were seized.
Two of the four defendants were remanded in custody on the grounds that they had no home address. According to press reports, the charges are not sufficient to warrant the arrest of the other two defendants. In addition, witnesses have been summoned by the Munich public prosecutor’s office. It is not yet possible for us to assess which investigation procedures are involved in these summonses, what cross-referencing the cops are doing between which investigations, and whether they have any significant findings at all.
The people concerned and their supporters must now face up to the incarceration, prepare for the interrogations to come, and the trials that are likely to follow, as well as organize support for those in prison. We send them greetings of solidarity and strength for the times ahead.
What are the proceedings based on?
The proceedings are rather complicated. We’d like to try and describe them briefly here, although for the moment we can only do so on the basis of posts on indymedia and newspaper articles. For a better understanding, it may help to first summarize what came before these operations: for several years and with great regularity, vehicles, construction machinery, trains, construction equipment, buildings, cable shafts and cell towers have been burning in and around Munich. All this has resulted in material damage now running into the tens of millions. Most of these actions were not accompanied by a claim, but some were. According to the local press, the cops have been unable to find any exploitable trace to identify the perpetrators of any of the actions. They only assume that the fires are not the result of random self-combustion and have something to do with “critical infrastructures” in the broadest sense of the term. In January 2025, 23 vans belonging to Munich’s canine police brigade burned down in an unguarded parking lot. The damage amounted to over two million euros. That’s our brief summary of the situation.

UK: From Ryan Roberts for the The 11th of June International day of solidarity with long term Anarchist prisoners.
The 11th of June is the International day of solidarity with long term Anarchist prisoners. On this day we make a call for solidarity and to keep the light of revolution alive. Mutual support, care and unity are our strengths to bring down capitalism and keep our communities organised. Prison solidarity is not just a day or a week in the calendar, it’s every day, every hour, and every minute counts.
Bring prison solidarity into your everyday life. Write letters to your friends in prison. You don’t know anyone? Choose some local and international names and start to write to them. Prisons are built to isolate people, break that wall and don’t let anyone be forgotten.
We’re in this together, fighting the same unfair rotten system. No one left behind. No one is free until we’re all free. (A)

(Greece) Taking responsibility for incendiary barrage – COMMANDO “KYRIAKOS XYMITIRIS”
The comrades lost in struggle live on in the flames of the revolution.
Following the red path of blood we go back to 10/31, 2024. Following the traces of blood we travel in time and space. Arcadia Street, noon, the armed revolutionary Kyriakos Xymitiris leaves his last breath of life and freedom in this rotten world and travels. He will travel forever, he will fly over the metropolises armed with will and determination for the Cause. From 10/31, therefore, the world of struggle remains torn apart. The dead revolutionaries are honoured in the fire of struggle, on the barricades, in the explosions. And those who are left behind struggle with the ghosts of the living and the corpses of the undead, confront injustice, exploitation, the authoritarian network of relations. Until the end.
On 31/10, comrade Kyriakos Xymitiris lost his life fighting for an unsubjugated life, trying and struggling with all his strength to attack the world of power. Not safely from a secure position, not within the sanctuary of non-consequences nor with words and hollow proclamations. But using means of struggle that cost life and freedom.
All across the country a combative movement has directly stood up against ICE, DHS and the broader
machinery of deportation and border enforcement. We are not just LA, but we are MPLS, NYC, Phoenix, Atlanta, and many more cities.
As ICE continues to invade, as police continue to protect them and the supposed opposition can only manage nice words we see clearly that “sanctuary” is paper thin and if it’s ever to be it’s up to us to make it. And look how we’ve done it, all over the country putting state security forces on the run. In Newark an uprising in a detention center joined with combative action on the outside enabled 9 people to flee captivity, with 4 still on the run.
