Genova, Italy: Against Special Surveillance

While power continues to ravage and plunder territories, bodies and souls, we can still count on individuals who do not resign themselves and who, in spite of everything, continue on the tortuous path of freedom.
The capitalist system, now well established, always ready to hide behind the mask of democracy and security, unveils its tentacles a little more each day, which are insinuating themselves into the life of each individual, as well as into the exploitation of the earth, water and air. Those who (finally) realize this and those who are aware of it and have been opposing it for a long time, are immediately beaten and repressed, so that the dirty integrity of the authority that watches over the order and the instituted system is not damaged. Because of this, companions who have always thrown themselves with their tension against the power, see their affinities described as “terrorist associations”, their lives monitored and their freedom limited.

Protests and repressions in Belarus from anarchist perspective – online presentation

News from Belarus hardly make headlines of the english speaking media and if something comes it is mostly about some new crazy move of dictator Lukashenko. The protest for now is not happening anymore, but the struggle continues. Massive network of solidarity is supporting thousands of repressed among them dozens of anarchists and antifascists. Some spontanious decentrilized protests are happening on regular basis.

CALL FOR INTERNATIONAL WEEK OF SOLIDARITY WITH ANARCHIST PRISONERS 2021 // 23 – 30 AUGUST

There is a fundamental lie in the capitalist society. A promise that never comes true. The promise of freedom – you just have to work hard. Every time we stumble upon the crisis of capitalism we are reminded about that. More than one year of Covid-19 lies behind us. Some say, that Covid-19 is a health crisis. But it is not! Covid-19 is another crisis caused by capitalism. Provoked by the urge of more wealth and growth. Which contaminate fertile ground through industrial agriculture, steels habitat for humans and wild animals by extraction politics that turned thriving forests into deserts. It is the madness of capitalism that pushes humankind to ever new frontiers where more viruses are waiting for us.
This year brought more social and economic injustice, more suffering, but also more struggle. People stood up against the capitalist system and authoritarian regimes. People fought for  their freedom and against exploitation. People strike at the factories and rose up inside prisons against the authoritarian and profit-oriented politics.
This was a tough year and more is to come. In those times we need solidarity more then ever – in daily life,  our neighborhoods, our communities. But we should not forget our comrades in prison, who fight for freedom and equality. They experience hard times right now. Because the pandemic isolates people in prison even more.

Buenos Aires, Argentina: Summary of the “Chaos Gathering”

CHAOS GATHERING. SUNDAY, MAY 2ND
GLOBAL DAY AGAINST WORK
One autumn Sunday, we gathered to share a friendly day with rounds of talks and a meal.
The proposal arose with the intention of furthering the tension with the existent, the passivity present in the wider context as well as in our practices and perspectives.
We seek to generate a break in the agenda of (public) anarchist activities in the city of Buenos Aires. We are concerned to see that every anarchist meeting ends in a festival or concert, that the call is limited to groups of friends who share a costume and a musical taste. We believe that in addition to activities of relaxation and enjoyment, which already abound, we need more spaces for meeting and reflection that help us strengthen ties and deepen practices, giving more strength to our actions and multiplying the existence of active groups.

A debate will follow: “Il vuoto oltre la civiltà” [the void beyond civilization] by Edizioni Hirundo. In the night, DJ set and concert with: No Chappi? Burgeois! + Peggio Klasse Blues + il blues del “Il Tenebroso della fitta selva” [the gloomy one from the dense forest blues].
Sunday 8: morning walk. Presentation of the self-produced comic magazine “Respiro” [breath] with its editor Marco Ballone. Followed by Songs of Resistance under a centuries old lime tree

BUENOS AIRES, ARGENTINA: 4 YEARS AFTER THE DEATH OF ANARCHIST COMRADE SANTIAGO MALDONADO en/es

Four years after the murder of Santiago Maldonado we continue to vindicate our comrade.
Because anarchic memory is action, we call to remember Lechu, emphasizing the ideals and perspectives of our comrade.
We do not forget that Santiago was killed by the repressive agents of the State at a barricade in the Puelmapu, nor do we forget the usurpation that reformist sectors and supporters of this society made of his death, using his look and his body for their political moves. For this reason:
  • This year we propose NOT to use Santiago’s physical image in the propaganda, but rather his songs, ideas and practices, thus fighting the emptying and the washed out image that they have raised from the power.
  • Because we know that Lechu fought for the land and against capital, we propose to emphasize a multiform memory, which inevitably leads us to remember other comrades fallen in these same struggles. Thus, six months after the assassination of Baucis by hired assassins in the midst of the recovery of Mapuche land, we call for Bau to be present in the actions that we carry out.
  • We propose a memory of action that assumes that enemies are everywhere, which broadens our capacity to attack. We can be creative in attacking, let us not forget.
For a black memory,
to multiply propaganda and actions
No comrade is forgotten.
To our comrades in the dungeons of power in Chile, know that you are with us in every action.
