Call to action against the PRGT pipeline (Canada)

poster correct  pdf

As of August 2024, construction work has started on the the Prince Rupert Gas Transmission (PRGT) pipeline.

The project is owned by Western LNG and the Nisgaa Nation, the latter which has allowed for construction to start on their land first, the rural Nass river valley that sits adjacent to the pacific ocean. State and industry are committed to developing an “energy corridor” through the remote region.

The nearly completed and fiercely contested Coastal Gas Link pipeline was the first pipeline in the southern energy corridor, and PRGT is the first pipeline projected for the northern energy corridor. The line is set to end at Ksi Lisims LNG terminal (Nisgaa owned as well) where liquid and natural gas would be stored and prepared for export to international markets by tankers. LNG is being sold as a green alternative for those looking to shift away from coal. But the green transition is a lie. We know that energy, and its current reorganization, is inseparable from domination, capitalist exploitation and the extractivist logic that devastates the land. We propose attack.

Let’s Derail the Trainline Extensions!
We Can Break the Development!

Public Meeting
6pm Monday 20th January

Deptford
Check for address: https://squ.at/r/axaf

In the spreadsheets and boardrooms of the powerful, south east london has been carved up into ‘opportunity areas’. TfL and local councils are preparing the way for the biggest ever wave of property speculation.

We intend to fight it. There is always the choice to rebel. The means are available to those who want to find them.

A meeting for everyone who wants to do something directly against the plague of construction turbo-charged by proposed new tube stations.

Against the terrorism of money, displacement and misery. A proposal will be made for creating self-organised struggle groups, made of people who know and trust each other. This is not the place for political organisations, journalists or activists, but for whoever wants to struggle on their own behalf.

From Paris to Athens from the depths of our hearts. (France)

On the 31th of October, a bomb exploded in an apartment in Athens, blowing the apartment up, killing our companion Kyriakos and injuring another companion, Marianna, who is now in hospital, out of danger. We wish to her that she will recover quickly and without after-effects. We are with her in thoughts. With Kyriakos the movement lost a companion and some lost a friend, a loved one.

But in its war, the State never allows a ceasefire : Kyriakos was hardly gone for a few hours when it started already to attack our mourning companions, unleashed its henchmen against the ones it already called “terrorists” and “guerilleros” as a reference to the guerillas of the 2000’. Many persons, M. among them, are thus targeted by a counter-terrorist investigation and prosecuted for 8 charges.

Get Alfredo out of 41 bis. Hands off the anarchist publications

GET ALFREDO OUT OF 41 BIS
HANDS OFF THE ANARCHIST PUBLICATIONS

The preliminary hearing in the Sibilla case, which led to a repressive operation in November 2021 mainly targeting the anarchist newspaper ‘Vetriolo’, is scheduled for 15th January, after the one dated 10th October was postponed. The Public Prosecutor’s Office of Perugia is demanding the indictment of 12 anarchists accused of 19 charges, almost all of which aggravated by the purpose of terrorism.

Over the last few months, there have been notifications of the opening of a procedure by which the Perugia Police Headquarters intends to issue a series of ‘expulsion orders’, justifying them on the grounds of the solidarity presence that took place in front of the court on 10th October. The preparation of such preventive measures – imposing the obligation to stay out of a given municipality for a minimum of six months and a maximum of four years – for a moment like that one, where what happened was what usually happens in all circumstances of this type without any particular turbulence (the hanging of banners, a leaflet, a few interventions, etc.), assumes a clear meaning: to drive away comrades, to prevent any manifestation of solidarity during the hearings against the accused and in particular Alfredo Cospito, who is imprisoned under the 41 bis regime in the Bancali prison in Sardinia and is one of the 12 accused in this case.

Lecce , Italy : A reminiscence

Sometimes it is hard to write without running the risk of becoming rhetorical.

The death of Alfredo Bonanno has left what, precisely rhetorically, is referred to as an unbridgeable gap. A lack for many comrades – and they are hundreds – who, once they approached anarchism, drew vital lymph from his writings scattered in books, magazines and newspapers. Analytical writings to better understand the world and the evolution of domination, and to explore the way – one of the ways – in which to try to counter it. His analyses were lenses with which to look at things from another angle, and this way of looking at reality differently, of analysing it with another perspective is perhaps the thing that most fascinates about anarchism and will be most missed of Alfredo.

Whether it was one of his writings, a public discussion at an initiative or a conversation over a meal, he had the ability to stimulate that reflection that often led you to sit in silence and mull over what you had read or heard, taking you to reason differently, perceive other horizons.

December 2024

We live in a world in which our existence is continuously threaten by the capitalist advances in all their expressions. Governments and businessman, mercenaries without scruples are responsible of keeping the status quo, while submitting all of us by means of state violence to a life of misery and resignation.Confronting such reality, those who rise up and resist head against this imposed reality, are turned immediately into terrorist.

This idea is sustained and reproduced thanks to the unconditional support of the dis-information media, which fulfills very well their role of deforming opinion. Nothing further from reality than the headlines of the local yellow press.

Who decides to attack?

There is no such things as a savior complex in those who decide to fight. It is rather a personal decision that keeps coherence with the chosen path in life. Tireless and stubborn, us who chose this way are the undesirable reflex of a society that thinks of it self in terms of the oppressor. Therefore, we will always be on the side of those who rise up, face the oppressor and attack. Making clear that these are not invulnerable monsters.

Thursday, December 5, masked individuals raised barricades and confronted the police (COP) with molotov cocktails outside of Liceo 7 José Toribio Medina in Ñuñoa, Santiago.

The incendiary action was carried out in rejection of the political persecution experienced inside the establishment, which has resulted in harassment and expulsion of students who have been linked with actions of the street struggle.

Athens, Greece: Update from the demonstration gathering at korydallos prison on 31/12/24

31/12, in the evening, a rally was held outside Korydallos prison with the massive participation of comrades.

The gathering headed towards the men’s prison and then marched along Grigoriou Lambrakis Street towards the women’s prison. Finally, it headed to the back of the men’s prison outside the A’ wing.

Throughout the rally, dynamic slogans were heard, joined by the voices of prisoners. For the struggle against prisons, in solidarity with those who are imprisoned, in solidarity with the comrades who are in pretrial detention for the Ampelokipi case, Marianna, Dimitra, Dimitris, Nikos and A.K., and for our comrade Kyriakos Xymitiris who will live forever in our hearts and struggles.

KYRIAKOS IS ONE OF US

A COMRADE FOREVER ON THE STREETS OF FIRE

THE PASSION FOR FREEDOM IS STRONGER THAN ALL PRISONS

UNTIL THE DESTRUCTION OF THE LAST PRISON

SOLIDARITY WITH COMRADE K.K.

INTERNATIONAL WEEK OF ACTION 10-16 JANUARY 2025 FOR THE COMRADES OF THE REVOLUTIONARY STRUGGLE POLA ROUPA & NIKOS MAZIOTIS (Greece)

EVERY REBEL HEART, A REVOLUTIONARY STRUGGLE

Practical solidarity: In the face of the world of the state, the bosses and the horrors of their wars, we stand in solidarity with the condemned comrades of Revolutionary Struggle, Pola Roupa and Nikos Maziotis, who through the ranks and action of the organization Revolutionary Struggle, fought steadfastly and uncompromisingly on the side of the class oppressed by the violence and terror of economic exploitation, poverty and political extermination in the sweatshops of wage slavery. With consistency and dedication to the struggle for social revolution, the comrade and comrade took on the political responsibility of their participation in the organisation, as befits guerrilla dignity and revolutionary consistency.

They did not review and defended politically, one by one, the 18 armed and bombing actions undertaken by the Revolutionary Struggle, one by one, on high-important symbols and infrastructures of the state and capital, from 2003 to 2018, achieving significant blows to the correlations of domination: Ministries – of Economy and of Employment -, Evelpidon Courts, Police Departments, Police Officers and riot police, Minister of Public Order, US Embassy, Stock Exchange, Bank of Greece – branch of the European Central Bank – office of the International Monetary Fund in Greece, banks – Citibank, Eurobank -, up to the attempted escape of comrade Nikos Maziotis and other prisoners from the Korydallos prison by helicopter (hijacking), which was personally undertaken by comrade Pola Roupa.

Greece: FOR THE SUPPORT OF THE FUND FOR PRISONERS AND PROSECUTED REVOLUTIONARIES: For Kyriakos Xymitiris.

For Kyriakos Xymitiris.

December 2024

“Arm yourself and be violent, beautifully violent, until everything explodes. Because, you must remember that any violent action against these promoters of inequality is clearly justified by the centuries of infinite violence they have subjected us to.”
Mauricio Morales

Words are sometimes hopelessly inadequate to describe the state of affairs. There is no word that accurately describes the mental pain that revolutionaries feel when fellow travelers, who together traveled miles in the struggle against the barbarity of power and exploitation from person to person, lose their lives violently. Especially when the thread of life is cut in the most tragic way, in the process of less visible or even completely invisible risks, risks that prepare the ground for an imminent attack on the world of power. But if this one word existed, it should carry in turn the words

Pain, Rage, Revenge…

This October will forever remain in history as another star that went out early, shooting thousands of black arrows into the depths of our souls.

Since October 31, after that cursed explosion on Arcadia Street in Ampelokipi, the world of struggle has been left once again in ruins. Anarchists, communists, fighters, we are reliving the pain of violent separation. We are reliving the sudden shock of realizing that there are fewer of us left in this difficult struggle, losing a bright smile and a tireless and sparkling gaze, which we must realize we will never see again in any amphitheatre, in any demo, in any solidarity bar.

Thessaloniki, Greece : Greeting to the memorial for anarchist comrade Alfredo M. Bonanno in Carrara, Italy en/it

To the comrades of Carrara, who will honour the memory and struggle of anarchist revolutionary Alfredo M. Bonanno at the Circolo Culturale Anarchico ”Gogliardo Fiaschi” on December 8th 2024.

Comrades,

By raising our insurgent fists from the Greek metropolis, we welcome your initiative to honour the memory of the comrade Alfredo M. Bonanno. A few kilometres away from you, the answer to the question “Why is it necessary to highlight the historicality of the work of the comrade Alfredo”, lies in the simplest of concepts: the constant need of a free person to revolt against misery and the constant necessity for the world of poverty to be completely destroyed.

At a time of political retreat and reform, it is our collective duty to undo the natural death of a comrade, giving breath and vibrancy to the propositions that characterized his life and his passing from every field of struggle. To fight radically and with a point of aggression, to sharpen the conflict in all the fields of social antagonism. To fight to win, not moments, but the totality of freedom.

Update from Cassavetias prisons demo , and from the gathering at Korydallos prison in Athens 12/12/24

On Thursday, 12/12/24, approximately 40 comrades from different cities, gathered outside the Kassavetia prison to support our comrade K.K., who is imprisoned in this particular “correctional” facility.

The aim was for Dinos K. on his 18th birthday and being a prisoner of the social war, not to feel alone, not to feel that our solidarity, our practical political/material/moral and psychological support for him, will not accompany him  UNTIL FREEDOM
———-

(Athens) Update from the gathering at Korydallos prison Thu. 12/12
Today, Thursday 12/12 in the afternoon, a gathering was held at Korydallos prison against mandatory DNA collection, for which an order had been given a few days before, but also in solidarity with our comrades who were about to be subjected to this torture process.
The gathering remained for a while at the basketball courts opposite the male prison then headed opposite the women’s prison, where we heard the imprisoned comrades. Slogans were shouted and fliers were thrown.

text given out:

COMPULSORY DNA COLLECTION IS TORTURE

On 31/10/24, after a device exploded in an apartment in Ampelokipi, our anarchist comrade Kyriakos Xymitiris fell in the battle for social and class liberation. Our anarchist comrade Marianna M., who was also in the apartment, ended up severely injured in the “Evangelismos” Hospital. The well-known witch hunt followed, resulting in the arrests of comrade Dimitris, anarchist comrade Dimitra Z., anarchist comrade N. Romanou and A.K.

GREECE : FOR THE SUPPORT OF THE FUND FOR PRISONERS AND PROSECUTED REVOLUTIONARIES.

FOR THE SUPPORT OF THE FUND FOR PRISONERS AND PROSECUTED REVOLUTIONARIES.

Comrades and friends,

The Solidarity Fund for Imprisoned and Persecuted Revolutionaries was “born” 14 years ago from within the ranks of the anarchist/anti-authoritarian movement. From then until today the Fund has had an uninterrupted and diverse presence in the history of the movement in Greece. From the open, nationwide assembly of the structure, dozens of comrades have passed through and actively participated, while today the Fund consists of two sub-assemblies, in Athens and Thessaloniki. Throughout these years, the structure of the Fund has provided material support to dozens of political prisoners and persecuted revolutionaries. And it has managed to do this continuously and on a monthly basis. In addition to the financial support to the prisoners, captives of the social/class war, the structure attempts to support politically the comrades who are inside the walls, with events all over Greece, solidarity actions, presence in the adjacent courts.

As a Solidarity Fund we are made of the flesh of the radical movement. The people who participate in its assemblies come from it and act politically within it. The resources of the structure are resources that come from the practical solidarity of our political milieu ( in Greece and abroad) with prisoners. Through our publications, our events of all kinds, we try to raise the necessary funds for the monthly financial support of our incarcerated comrades. At the same time, a significant part of the material support comes from contributions from groups, collectives, individuals within and outside Greece. The structure is, in this way, another link between the movement and political prisoners, one of the “bodies” that the movement itself has created as another constant point of reference for the multifaceted solidarity it has shown towards them over time.
