Greece: “Ιν μαγκάφ χασπί, καλιαρντέ αιμοβόροι σι…Ντέλε μο”/ A few words about Kassaveteia prisons from K.K.

09/07/2025

“The monsters were tried with hunger as a witness,

locked away for a lifetime in involuntary quarantine.

Despair is its revolver and bullets their needs..”

The road to liberation is long and after every tiring uphill, every
sharp turn, every pothole and everything that slowed our movement, we must regroup with tenfold stubbornness. We must march even more militant, and this is because our memory is neither insignificant nor ephemeral. The free moments in the midst of actions remain alive in our minds, the memories of people in whose eyes and words you can see the beauty of a new world, and most importantly, the thoughts about the prisoners, for those who wake up behind bars and barbed wire, remain indelible. For every invisible, for every forgotten…

I have met many such people in the past months. I am referring to the time I was a prisoner in the Kassavetia Rural Detention Center. There are essentially 4 different prisons operating there, including the juvenile prison, where there are prisoners as young as 15 years old(!). The prison in question is made up mostly of young Roma who are impoverished, who experience deep poverty, in very difficult family environments, while others have not even had a family since a very young age. And these situations have created in them a petty criminal behavior where, due to the vindictiveness of the state and civil justice, they are sent to prison. People who don’t even know how to read a sentence, who haven’t understood basic things about how the world works, let alone the state, who have a major conscience deficit in the majority of them, find themselves imprisoned without any hope, subjected to daily irony
from the guards and hearing phrases like: “when you steal, it’s okay,
now you’re in pain?” or “do dogs become people, kid?”

Mettmann (Germany): three cell towers up in smoke, “Switch Off Everything”!

[Note of Sans Nom: In Germany’s seventh-largest city, Düsseldorf, located in the North Rhine-Westphalia region, the “Angry Birds Commando” has been regularly generating conversation in recent years. In August 2024 for example, it claimed responsibility for setting fire to railway signal cables in Mettmann, adding to its previous sabotage attacks on rail traffic: one in Düsseldorf in January 2024,and five others in the same city claimed in May 2023.

After the translation in January 2025 of their text “Switch off Deutsche Bahn – Communiqué #4”which returned to their vision of collapse, we publish their following communiqué, concerning the sabotage of three cell towers in the district of Mettmann, released on June 1, 2025 on de.indymedia]

Switch Off Everything – Sabotaged Cell Towers

Action Claim #5

Over the last 200 years, industrial society has acquired unprecedented capabilities. It has clearly demonstrated its absolute inability to cope with this responsibility by causing the sixth mass extinction, a process that could potentially far surpass any other extinction event in the history of life.

All Cameras are Cops (Portland, USA)

On July 25th, the FBI conducted an early morning raid on a home in Portland and kidnapped a 24 year-old on federal charges related to a protest at the ICE building. They are facing up to 20 years in prison for allegedly “assaulting an officer” and damaging the facade of the ICE facility in SW Portland in early June. The FBI identified them by running a photo (in which their face was visible) through facial recognition search software. The photo was taken by Mark Graves, a photographer from the Oregonian.

Every camera is an asset to the state and a threat to those who fight back. From the professional journalist “just doing their job” to the movement livestreamer who’s “on your side,” to the protester waving their phone around for a social media post- all cameras are cops. This case is just the latest example, but there are many more that have come before. As AI and facial recognition software use expands, it is more important than ever to block, paint, and smash cameras at protests. Continue reading All Cameras are Cops (Portland, USA)

(Chile) We Remember the Courage and Decision of Comrade Tortuga for Attacking Power To the Very End

via:  informativoanarquista

14 years have passed since the morning of Wednesday, June 1 in 2011 when the comrade Luciano Pitronello, known as Tortu, was gravely wounded after attempting to place an explosive artifact in a branch of Santander Bank in Santiago de Chile. This action, though failed in its execution, turned into an inflection point, not only for his life, but also for the anarchist space that surrounded him and of which he was a part…

The Context of the Offensive and Repression

Luciano acted in a moment of high tension. Since the death in action of comrade Mauricio Morales in 2009, who tried to attack the nefarious Gendarmerie School, a repressive offensive was unleashed against anarchist spaces in Chile. The cruelest point of this persecution was on August 14, 2010, when the government of Sebastián Piñera executed a media and police frame up known as the Bombs Case. 14 comrades from different social spaces and squats were arrested, while another comrade went on the run to avoid prison.

Next to a highway at night. Greetings from clandestinity, year 9.

It is dark, large stones lie scattered on the fresh asphalt. Next to the new lane that is being built here, a highway stretches into the infinite black of night. The air smells of summer and instead of noisy hustle and bustle, there is only timeless silence.

I often come here to this construction site, which will one day become another expressway. Like a labyrinth, I follow the path that the large stones point out to me. It is a long walk until I reach my destination, but deep down I know that the effort is worth it – that it has been worth it every time I have come here. After I’ve left the last stone behind me, I’m standing in front of a paved hill, just like you know it from San Francisco. So I set off on the climb to finally reach my destination, the long-awaited meeting point.

(Iran) Tehran Beneath the Bombs: Testimony of an Anarchist

June 24, 2025

Note from Informativo Anarquista:

We spread these words from Tehran to not disregard international geopolitics, especially the recent wars in the Middle East. But we want to clarify that we remain distant from pacifist vision to confront nationalist and fundamentalist wars. Anarchist antimilitarism has no reason to deny political violence. We share what some comrades who recently carried out an anti-militarist attack told us:

“It’s not surprising that anti-militarists attack military companies, but rather that all those who loathe war and massacres do not attack military companies. It’s not surprising that anti-militarists want to sabotage war, but that all those who are against militarization and rearmament don’t add their grain of sand to contribute to disarmament.”

Furthermore we believe that speaking of “zionist militarism”, could suppose the unquestionable existence of another zionism, which we totally reject. This could signify some issues regarding anti-militarist tendencies that question war but not states. We shouldn’t lose the horizon with respect to the grotesque existence of national zionism as colonial and supremacist thought in the 21st century. As anarchists, we seek the destruction of all states through our acts, whether theocratic, zionist, socialist, progressive and many other systems that perpetuate domination.

(Iran) Tehran Beneath the Bombs: Testimony of an Anarchist

From Tehran, an anarchist activist gives testimony of the Israeli attacks, the daily chaos and the role that anarchists attempt to play between war, repression and survival. A moving account that I translated with tears in my eyes. My condolences are with those on both sides who fight for peace and freedom! With the deserters, the only war heroes! Introduction

[…]we enter a vicious circle with mournful calls to a miserable bartering with the State one wanted to fight.

When individuals find themselves alone at night, no longer supported by “collective strength”, the arms of Morpheus transform the imprisoned comrades one wanted to support, to whom one wanted to express one’s solidarity, into a real nightmare with no escape.

So! Should we no longer show solidarity to imprisoned comrades given that it serves no end? Continue reading About Munich 2019-2025 : Petrol, Printer Ink and Paranormal Activity

Hetzlumpen

PDFs: A3 | Tabloid

These pages address the excesses of repression in the Bavarian kingdom and attempt to view the repressive strikes in the context of the broader state militarization taking place. Furthermore, this publication also touches upon the history of censorship in the BRD, the spectre of “eco-anarchism” and sabotage, what actually sucks about wind turbines and how it might be possible to deal with increasing censorship measures against subversive publications in the future.

First and foremost, however, this publication is above all a declaration and expression of solidarity with the repressed anarchist projects, the imprisoned comrades M. and N., as well as all the other anarchists impacted by repression in the Bavarian kingdom.

Since 2022, there have been a series of repressive strikes against anarchists in Munich. The preliminary highlight was the arrest of the anarchists N. and M. at the end of February 2025 on charges of publishing the newspaper Zündlumpen with another person. The Munich Public Prosecutor General’s Office decided to prosecute and censor Zündlumpen and its alleged editors as a criminal organization. The crimes committed by the criminal association of the Zündlumpen editorial team are to have published and distributed incitement, counseling, and condoning of criminal acts.

If it is a crime to endorse violence against this murderous system, then we are all guilty as charged.

Preface

From February 2019 to September 2021, “Anarchistisches Wochenblatt Zündlumpen” [“Zündlumpen Anarchist Periodical”] was published in Munich, at first on a weekly basis, and at increasingly greater intervals over time, but also with an ever increasing page count. It was never really clear whether Zündlumpen was more of a street paper or a discussion paper for anarchists – it included elements of both approaches, depending on the issue, sometimes veering more in one direction and sometimes the other. The texts were both introductory and in-depth, new and old, translations, analysis and commentary on current local events as well as happenings from further afield, communiqués, instructions, discussion texts and polemics as well as news from Munich and all over the world, from torched e-scooters in a Munich park to prison riots in Italy, along with photos of graffiti – the “Graffiti of the Week” – were wildly compiled.

The Munich paper underwent quite a few developments throughout its existence. Apart from several radical changes in design and format, it evolved from a weekly local anarchist paper encompassing various leftist tendencies which covered one A3 page, into a discussion paper of dozens to sometimes even hundreds of pages in length, starting more or less at the beginning of “covid”. It was notorious for its combative style, which formulated a radical critique of the covid measures and all of their supporters, whether they call themselves anarchist or not, and it reinforced and developed this critique over time with ever more detailed and in-depth analyses.

The Return of Autonomous Demonstrations in Philadelphia, PA: Brief Notes on the Recent Anti-ICE Actions and A Response to the Socialists in the Partisan (USA)

June 20

The autonomous demonstration has returned to Philadelphia. On June 10th and June 14th respectively, two self organized autonomous demonstrations were called to fight back against ICE and in solidarity with the rebellion in Los Angeles. To read a better understanding of what went down, I recommend you read the Unicorn riot account (https://unicornriot.ninja/2025/philadelphia-police-crack-down-on-anti-ice-marches-twice-in-one-week/) and an article I have deep disagreements with (https://phillypartisan.com/2025/06/15/headless-courage-anti-ice-protests-vs-police-brutality/). Both give brief overviews of what happened at these demos.

As an older anarchist, I was glad to see younger comrades organizing against ICE in a militant fashion. It is a rare thing to see publicly organized autonomous demonstrations in the United States despite the fact that they are common in many other places like Latin America or Europe. Autonomous demonstrations are critical for real combative street movements. For over a decade, the activist/organizer culture has plagued Philadelphia’s street movements with their cowardice and liberalism. A few words about the Exarcheia riots on 12th April 2025 (Athens,Greece)

A few words about the Exarchia riots on 12th April 2025

In the evening of April 12th, we chose to confront the forces of repression in the streets of Exarchia. This conflict erupted in a climate of intense police presence in the neighbourhood by the state and attempts to instill fear among those who resist.

Exarchia constitutes an area claimed by the state and capital of all kinds (tourist-hotels, restaurants, bars, construction, housing-real estate, airbnb). By fast-track procedures, especially since ND has been at the helm of the state but also with increased acceleration from the covid and post-covid era, a relentless attack has been taking place on the characteristics of the place in an attempt to extirpate the fighting past of the movement, the insurrectional tradition and riots. Beyond the presence and attacks of the cops this is also carried out through territorial claims by the state with the eviction of the squats (in which SYRIZA was also a participant). This state/investors’ attack consists of the elements of repression toward the people in struggle, the displacement of anyone that ‘does not fit’ and cannot withstand the cost of housing and the establishing of a sterilized reality characterized by investment, over-consumption, surveillance, violent ‘touristification’, hipsterism, alternativism and police reppression.

Germany: Two years of Switch-Off – an evaluation

Two years of Switch-Off – an evaluation

April 2024

It has been two years since we first spoke. The call was made in the middle of the ongoing strategy debate in the climate movement. At that time, after Hambi, Danni and directly after Lützerath, the potential of mass actions seemed to have been exhausted for many. In the context of these and other climate protest and mass actions, we wanted to propose a project with a focus on decentralized and direct actions.

At this point in time, the view of and fear of the impending climate collapse made it clear to us that radical methods and an intensification of revolutionary practice within the climate movement were urgently needed.

We formulated anti-state, autonomous, anarchist perspectives on sabotage and wanted to incorporate these more strongly.

In terms of content, we focused on an anti-colonial and technology-critical analysis. We were inspired by indigenous struggles and their practices resisting against (neo-)colonial exploitation and the destruction of their territories. Colonial exploitation is not only part of the racist ideological history of the West, but continues to be part of the economic and imperialist expansion efforts of large corporations such as Deutsche Bahn with the Tren Maya megaproject. With our analysis and call, we stood in solidarity with international struggles. In the ongoing destruction of the earth, we saw the necessity of attacking industrial infrastructures and the possibilities of a strengthening international points of reference in these struggles.
