What justice are they talking about?

Starting from the use of the term Justice in the title and texts of the exhibition of the state institution EMST, Why Look at Animals? Justice for Non-Human Life, (2025-26) along with its lack of conceptualization and since the term is used in an organization of an official institution, this pretentious ambiguity triggers thoughts of some indirect or direct purposes. Firstly, the possibility of the deliberate reduction, equalization, assimilation and weakening of the struggle for the liberation of non-humans and humans into an exclusive issue of legislative and institutional claims. Secondly, its transformation into a matter of cultural “to trade” that follows the consumer fashions of each era and its transformation into a commodified showcase of the capitalist pursuits of the cultural/creative industry.

After all, the practice of the non-creative, capitalist classes when they initially reject the creative action of the insurgents, and then appropriate and market it as if it were their own invention, is now well known. Under these circumstances, it is necessary to show that such expediencies are usually interspersed with discourses about justice, rights-ism/entitlementism and human/non-human rights, legal or natural, which are fundamentally misleading and hypocritical up criminally false. General Updates: On Wednesday 12/11 an uprising took place in Serres detention centre, fires were lit and people attempted to escape by cutting the fence. (Greece)

Early morning on Wednesday 12/11 police raided Kavala camp and took a number of people citing the new immigration law. This is not the first time such a raid has happened in camps.

Reports of Horrendous Conditions inside Amygdaleza Detention Centre Below are testimonies from 3 individuals detained in amygdaleza about police violence, conditions and prevention to apply for asylum.

They said that the living conditions in Amygdaleza are very poor, with massive overcrowding, a lack of beds, mattresses and blankets, lack of warm water and hygiene products and the prevalence of insects and rats. The situation with the rats is so bad that detainees sleep in shifts in order to keep the rats at bay.

There are approximately 14 people living in each container, but only 2 beds and the container is so dilapidated that half the floor is missing. Many people do not have mattresses or blankets despite the cold weather and that they are not provided with clothes. Over 100 people share the same bathroom which has only 4 toilets, and only 6 or 7 showers. There is no hot water or soap or shampoo. “Even though we ask for it [soap] they [the police] ignore us… they tell us to go clean yourself in your own country”. There is a lack of access to medical care, legal advice and asylum procedures, despite requesting cops. 365 days ago, our comrade Kyriakos Xymitiris gave light to the darkness, even if it was the light of his final explosion, at the end of a burning path.

Kyriakos was a resourceful and active anarchist fighter who participated in the entire spectrum of the struggle. From marches, interventions, microphone demos to clashes with the forces of repression. He was present on all the fronts and areas of the struggle. He participated in solidarity assemblies for imprisoned fighters, in anti-fascist coordinations, in actions in favour of occupations, in solidarity with immigrants, against war and imperialism, in solidarity with the struggles of the Palestinians, in struggles against gentrification and patriarchy. And of course in direct revolutionary action and the armed choice.

All who are lost in the fires of the struggle never die

Every October is black, every thought we have is black, every action we take is black. Since October 31, 2024, our hearts have been frozen upon hearing the news of the death of our anarchist comrade and guerilla Kyriakos Xymitiris. In an apartment on Arkadias Street, in Ambelokipi area, the comrade was killed while working on an explosive device and his anarchist comrade Marianna M. was seriously injured.

What happened next is pretty well known when it comes to the state’s witch hunts against anarchists. After comrade Marianna
was taken to Evanggelismos Hospital, all kinds of tactics and torture were used by the cops and the investigating authorities.
Subsequently, anarchist comrade Dimitra Z. and comrade Dimitris are arrested on insufficient evidence. A few days later, anarchist comrade Nikos Romanos and A.K. are also arrested. In fact, the only incriminating evidence against the latter two is a fingerprint on a bag, which is a classic tactic used by the EL.AS.(Greek police)  to fabricate charges, since a fingerprint on a mobile object is not reliable evidence. About the arson of the Ministry of Rural Development and Food 

EU agricultural subsidies as a tool of capitalist restructuring.
Like every ministry, the Ministry of Rural Development is a mechanism of class domination. Class domination for Greek capitalism in the sector of primary production practically means:

-Privatization of the largest and most fertile part of the agricultural land – and securing through it enormous profits – by a tiny minority of modern landowners closely linked to domestic and international agribusiness monopolies. It is indicative that today 90% of all agricultural land belongs to just 15% of wealthy rich large farmers.

• Eradication of the poor peasantry (from 900,000 in 2005 to 500,000 in 2025) and continuous pressure on their already meager income, through the sharp increase in production costs, the increase in insurance contributions and taxation, the humiliating selling prices of products to wholesalers, the drastic reduction in expenses for compensation for floods, fires, diseases, the suffocation from predatory lending by banks.

URGENT UPDATE: On Thursday 30/10 at 18:00, the event themed Revolutionary Memory and the presentation of the book “Invisible Stars: Lighting the Path of Resistance” will be moved to ASOEE economics university due to the lockout announced at Panteion university. (Athens,Greece)

One year after the explosion in Arcadia Street on 31/10/2024, which tragically resulted in the loss of our armed fighter and beloved comrade Kyriakos Xymitiris, as well as the pre-trial detention of our comrades, we honour his memory and fight for the release of those imprisoned in the cells of democracy.

On Thursday 30/10 at 18:00 , an event will be held at ASOEE with the theme  Revolutionary Memory and the presentation of the book “Invisible Stars: Lighting the Path of Resistance” with cases of fighters who fell fighting in a similar way.

The event will be attended by comrades from Greece and abroad with similar experiences.

Claim of responsibility for arson attack on a riot cop house (Athens,Greece)

Responding to the call of comrades Marianna Manoura and Dimitra Zarafeta for an October of diverse actions in honour of comrade Kyriakos Xymitiris, in the early hours of Thursday 16/10 we attacked the home of a riot police officer at 1 Georgiou Papandreou Street in Zografou with fire. We chose to honour the anarchist fighter Kyriakos Xymitiris because he was a comrade who participated in diverse actions in the anarchist movement and remained faithful to his ideas until the end.

We believe that such actions continue the legacy of these struggles in which the comrade participated.

Also, this target was chosen because of the attack by the cops on demonstrators on 7/10 during the solidarity march for Palestine and the attack by the cops on 3/10 on people in coffee bars and shops in Kolettis Street and more broadly in the Exarchia neighbourhood.
