Athens, Greece: INCENDIARY ATTACK ON THE HOUSE OF RETIRED COPS by Andreas Baader Cell

Athens: INCENDIARY ATTACK ON THE HOUSE OF RETIRED COPS.

We take responsibility for the incendiary attack on the house of retired cop Fotis Theodoros in Kaisariani Aarea, at 5 Manoliassas Street. We were very pleased to learn in the days that followed that a second retired cop lived in the same building.

The reason for this attack was the State murder of Kostas Fragoulis by the uniformed garbage of the DIAS cops team. Once again, the agents of the State apparatus murder in cold blood, but this time, as last year with Nikos Sabanis, race became the main issue in the political and social arena. As anarchists we do not need to analyse our position, it is clear. But we ought to recall that this is not a random incident but a manifestation of the wider war that is being waged doggedly by the State and capitalism against the oppressed of this world and especially against those who dare to question their sovereignty. We are taking a stand in this war and declare that we will walk through your homes and over your dead bodies.

It is not fitting for the flame of a candle to be lit over a young grave, whole States should be in flames. C.C.F. (for the murder of A. Grigoropoulos)

Athens,Greece: Feedback from the solidarity meeting with comrade hunger striker Alfredo Cospito, at the Italian Embassy in Athens (Greece) [16/2/23] Sempre con l’anarchia!

Athens: Feedback from the solidarity meeting with comrade hunger striker Alfredo Cospito, at the Italian Embassy in Athens (Greece) [16/2] Sempre con l’anarchia!

The only enemy is the state and capitalism

On Thursday 16 February, a solidarity meeting was held with the anarchist hunger striker from 20/10 against 41-bis and perpetual life imprisonment, Alfredo Cospito, as a signal of internationalist solidarity from Athens. The rally crossed the sidewalk of the Italian embassy, although the cops told us to stay on the opposite sidewalk. We then left in an assembled fashion and opened banners at Syntagma, opposite the parliament, before leaving.

On the same day (February 16), while the struggle against the Penal Code in Greek prisons continues, anarchists and militant prisoners started a collective hunger strike with whatever strength each one has individually, to stand mentally by the side of the anarchist Alfredo Cospito and against the regime-grave of 41-bis (G. Michailidis, Th. Hatzianggelou, I. Rodopoulos, L. Vougiouklakis, P. Vougiouklakis, F. Daskalas, S. Nikolouzos and S. Kalaitzidis went on one day of hunger strike, and D. Hatzivassiliadis and K. Dimalexis went on three days of hunger strike).

Athens, Greece: CLAIMING RESPONSIBILITY FOR AN INCENDIARY ATTACK ON A CAR DEALERSHIP by Carnivalists of fire

Athens: CLAIMING RESPONSIBILITY FOR AN INCENDIARY ATTACK ON A CAR DEALERSHIP

“Fortune knows that we defy it, and the more it beats us, the more we despise it.” William Shakespeare

In a few months, as we all know, the four-year rule of new democracy with Kyriakos Mitsotakis as prime minister will come to its “happy” end. Before the government even started, it promised many times that (like another Papadopoulos  (dictator leader on 70s) it would ”crack down on anarchy” thus declaring open war on all anarchist-revolutionary-rebellious parts of society.

After 4 years of evictions of squats, bans on strikes and marches, State murders, extreme repression and imprisonment of innocent but proudly ‘guilty’ comrades, we are still here. Although we have had some resounding disappointments and defeats (let us not hide behind our finger) we proudly declare that the anarchist revolutionary movement has not fallen and will never fall without a fight. And that is the only way we ought to look to the continuation of our struggle. For unlike theirs our way has no end. Our road is eternal, etched with the blood of those who sacrificed for Anarchy and Freedom and carved in the footsteps of fire.

That is why we are taking responsibility for the incendiary attack on a car dealership in Kallithea at dawn on 12/2, which, make no mistake, was not for extortion or for blackmail, as the media declared the next day, but as a small blow to the image of normality, security and social peace that prevails in Greek society. We dedicate this attack to all our comrades who, unrepentantly and without fear, still look the enemy in the eye and take it on. Because the ruins of a ‘beautiful’ delegation that tries to cover up the vulgarity of society will always fill us with satisfaction.

Financial support for the surgical expenses of an anarchist comrade (Athens-Greece)

Financial support for the surgical expenses of an anarchist comrade.

Dear comrades

The Solidarity Fund for imprisoned, persecuted revolutionaries (Tameio), has been trying to obtain, since being established in 2010, a regular and consistent political, moral and material support to the political prisoners and imprisoned fighters. Alongside, it has also actively aided with legal expenses and bails of persecuted comrades and it supported prison struggles. Solidarity, as a crucial political act, is extended to include comrades who need our active support.

With respect to this, we would like to inform you about the firefund that has been created by a group of comrades from Athens for the financial support of an anarchist comrade who faces substantial medical expenses, needing to promptly have a costly surgery.

About the murder of Kostas Fragoulis (Athens,Greece)

About the murder of Kostas Fragoulis

On 13/12 it was announced that Rom Costas Fragoulis is now dead. On5/12, after 16 year old Kostas refused to pay 20 euros for petrol, he was chased by DIAS cops, who shot him with 2 bullets in the head. Before we even knew about his final state of health and while the family wasn’t receiving any information either, the cop killers were already set free.

This murder unfortunately does not catch off guard, as we do not forget the murder of another Rom, Nikos Sambanis in October 21 with 38 bullets in the back of the head, where once again the killers were pampered by the bourgeois “justice”.

Roma communities vehemently refuse to adapt to the norms created by Greek capitalism. And rightly so! In any case, the only “efforts” of the state to include them in the social fabric and remove their marginalization are to fit them into its molds, to “civilize” them and use them as cheap labor, as it does with all social groups that do not conform to the dominant model. When it has no need for this, it feeds their ignorance in a whole host of ways, culminating in the murder of a child for which it will not budge.

The message “whoever can’t adapt, dies” is now clear from the state’s side and is being transmitted every day. Whether it is the daily oppression and ghettoisation, the criminalization of the Roma, or the shooting of the Roma, Greek society has been educated in the narrative that the Roma are less than human and therefore deserve all this. That’s why we see people applauding the cops who killed Kostas, just like they did in the case of Sambanis. That’s why the Roma communities have taken the whole struggle for vindication on their backs; and one shouldn’t have to wonder how and why.

Attack Against the Home of the Former Director of the Elaionas Migrant Concentration Camp in Greece

Vandalism of the home of M.D. Nioutsikou, former administrator of the Elaionas migrant concentration camp

WHO IS SHE?

Maria-Dimetra Nioutsikou was appointed as the temporary administrator of the Elaionas immigration camp in order to carry out the plans of the Municipality of Athens for the closure of the camp and its conversion into a new stadium for Panathinaikos (Greek football club). This means displacing thousands of people outside the city and imprisoning them in concentration camps in the middle of nowhere. The choice of Nioutsikou to carry out Bakoyannis’ (Kostas Bakoyannis – Mayor of Athens) violent plans was no accident as she has a rich resume of repression and crushing the lives of immigrants and migrants. We do not forget when, as the administrator of the Samos camp, she tortured and psychologically and physically abused minor children who had participated in protests about the conditions in the hellhole, leading some of them to commit suicide. She also used the tactic of psychological torture in the Elaionas camp where she used documents to blackmail the migrants fighting against the eviction.

We are all comrades: Support the 4 persecuted anarchists (Greece)

Support economically and politically the 4 persecuted comrades, who are under trial at 6 February 2023. The 4 anarchists are being persecuted, under “anti-terrorist” law, for participating in an allegedelly “terrorist” organization named “comrades”. No one alone against the state! International revolutionary solidarity!

The first solidarity banner for the 4 comrades, Exarcheia 10th March 2020. Banner, “In a world that human relationships are being criminalized, we are all comrades”

Chronicle of the prosecution

On March 8th and 9th 2020, after a state security operation three male and one female comrade are arrested. Τhe authorities’ sole piece of evidence was two cops having ‘visually’ identified the first arrested person on a video of the attack against the Mitsotakis* Foundation. The other three were arrested due to their friendly and comrade relationships. They now find themselves charged with an enormous case file which includes 55 attacks.

Athens,Greece: (Whatever the decision, fire to every prison!) Freedom to comrades D. Chatzivassiliadis & V. Stathopoulos

Athens ; (Whatever the decision, fire to every prison!) Freedom to D. Chatzivassiliadis and  V. Stathopoulos

Power fears the revolutionary impulse and is on its knees when the revolutionary perspective for a new world, free and unconstrained, without slaves and hypocrisy, is born. The State begins to disintegrate when the will for its effective deconstruction begins in practice and as a whole. The prisoners of the war of liberation are the vanguard of the struggle and our solidarity is non-negotiable and unconditional.

We stand by the struggles of our comrades in the courts and in captivity. Our struggles against the violence of the State and capital do not stop in the courtrooms or in the prisons!

Attack on the metro construction sites – Taking responsibility Athens, Greece.

On Monday, 26 December, we set fire to 2 construction machines used at the building site for the new metro line in May Day Square.
We attacked the metro machines on Veikou Avenue in Galasti area as soon as the weather changed. We realized that with the intense humidity in the air, there was a possibility of the action failing. In any case, we decided to take the risk and the result was that 3 project machines were completely destroyed and probably several more got damaged, which was a positive thing for us.

What happened will in no way stop work on the metro, but it did result in 5 damaged machines which caused a good financial loss and sent a message of resistance. Perhaps our action only caused a slight delay in the work process, but we will always prefer action to simply being a spectator to this absurd and sad reality.

ACTIVISTS DAMAGE ANIMAL PRODUCT PACKAGES IN SUPERMARKETS DURING CHRISTMAS. (December, Athens,Greece)

ACTIVISTS DAMAGE ANIMAL PRODUCT PACKAGES IN SUPERMARKETS DURING CHRISTMAS.

December, Athens:

“While life in the metropolis becomes more and more difficult for human and non-human animals who try to survive in it, the mayor of athens decided to remind us this year how easily τhe states domination can destroy nature, by placing a 21 meters tree from karpenisi, in syntagma square. Under the tree and the 40,000 lights that illuminated it, uniformed bastards were placed in order to preserve the “festive atmosphere”. After all, they had every reason to be afraid, since on December 5, a cop literally performed his duty by shooting the 16-year-old Roma Kostas Frangoulis, a day before the anniversary of the murder of the 16-year-old anarchist Alexis Grigoropoulos.

The festive atmosphere continued in the municipality of Volos, since real non-human animals were used as accessories to decorate two nativities in the area. Non-human animals have once again been exploited in the name of customs and tradition.
