ALF PESTS VISIT PEST CONTROL COMPANY IN BRISTOL,5th June (UK)

[editor’s note: The anonymous ALF activists send two images of the action, but unfortunately they were corrupted and we have not received any other files. The image accompanying the report is unrelated.]

received anonymously via email:

“In the early hours of Tuesday 5th June, the Bristol branch of Rentokil, “the worlds largest pest control company” got visited by some uncontrollable pests, who took their time to make sure every tire was slashed on the 4 vans, then spraypainted and smashed at least one passenger window on each. Hidden away on a quiet industrial estate in south Bristol they had a surprising lack of cameras for the “the worlds largest pest control company”, any and every company that is complicit in the murder and torture of non human comrades is a target.

A local shout out to the animal lib anarchists in the midlands and up north who are maintaining their attack on such targets and the liberation of comrades, let’s see some more of that down these neck of the woods! An international shout out to the ALF comrades in the Netherlands for the burning of 9 slaughterhouse trucks!

Unsung: A hot week in Terrace (Canada)

Terrace Fire Department has been busy responding to two separate arsons targeting Kalum Cabs within five days of each other. Kalum Cabs is a taxi and shuttle company based in Terrace which operates in a few neighboring towns offering private and commercial shuttle services. According to a press release, early on the morning of the 24th police arrived hot on the heels of firefighters attempting to extinguish two of the companies shuttle busses which were found in flames.

The buses were reported to be severely damaged and photos published showed charred pavement from where they had been parked. Judging from the photos it seems the remains of the busses were oddly moved before the photo was taken. The wee hours of August 29th must have been another dreadful surprise for the forces of order who found themselves looking at another arson this time targeting Kalum’s taxi cabs. Police reported several cabs were targeted and one was seriously damaged.

Sabotage of three machines against the Novo Nordisk Motorvej (Denmark )

A month ago the machines started attacking the forests. The biggest machine was attacked and eventually died after being stuffed with concrete and drowned with bleach. It stood still for 2 weeks under a ring of old oaks, blocking a road and preventing those trees from being cut. A smaller machine cutting down the smaller trees was also visited.

Its air filters were removed and its exhaust was filled with concrete. The fate of a third sabotaged machine remains unknown as they have removed all the machines from the area now. That was fun!

Best wishes to the forest defenders.

West Coast Rail Sabotage (Canada)

Following the approval of the PRGT in June, dozens of track circuits throughout BC have been shorted, disconnected, or otherwise tampered with.

The vast majority of track circuits operate on direct current (DC) and are relatively easy to induce a fail state. The quickest and most discreet method has proven to be the simple snipping of the cable bonding track blocks, requiring little more than a good pair of cutters. Alternatively, a 4 AWG copper wire (commonly found connecting residential main service panels) can be securely fastened to the rail head. And, of course, there is always the option of disabling the power supply. This may include damaging the grounding, which is more time-consuming but notably harder to detect and locate.

Technical details and diagrams of track circuits, and specifically how to compromise them, are readily available in engineering textbooks at your local library, past communiqués, and even neatly presented in certain PDFs hosted on the Government of Canada’s website.

PT/ Porto Alegre,Brazil: Protesto anárquico na UFRGS 1 contra o evento Pré COP30. A potência dum curto-circuito

9.2025

Lattes (Hérault) France : sabotaging the daily train routine in advance

SNCF: an “act of vandalism” south of Montpellier severely disrupts train traffic
France Bleu/Hérault Tribune/Midi Libre, September 9, 2025

Train traffic is severely disrupted on Tuesday, September 9, in the Hérault and Gard departments. At 7 a.m., the SNCF reported that an act of vandalism between Montpellier and Sète had interrupted rail traffic to and from the Sud de France station, causing serious delays on several lines, including Montpellier-Narbonne, Montpellier-Nîmes, and Nîmes-Avignon.

The incident involved a fire in underground SNCF electrical cables located in the Jasse de Maurin area of Lattes between midnight and 12:30 a.m. on Monday night/Tuesday, September 9, which is a strategic area for the network: this is where trains take the Montpellier bypass towards the Sud-de-France station. An interview with two settler anarchists in northern British Columbia who are active in a growing struggle against the Prince Rupert Gas Transmission Project or PRGT.
Resistance to the project has been heating up all summer as government approvals have been issued and construction work is expected to begin in the fall of 2025.
Discussions includes history and overview of the project, the changing context of the Canada-US trade war, anarchist-indigenous solidarity, and taking some lessons from Shut Down Canada.
For security reasons, this interview has been re-voiced by voice actors.

Berlin (Germany): cutting power to Europe’s largest technology park

[Note of Sans Nom: On Tuesday, September 9, in the southern districts of Berlin, at around 3:30 a.m., flames engulfed two 35-meter-high, 110-kV electricity pylons located on Königsheide Street in the Johannisthal district, cutting power to Europe’s largest technology park located nearby in Altendorf. Steel chains were also wrapped around the cable insulation sheaths to cause a short circuit once they had melted in the flames. These two pylons are located at the end of the overhead line, where electricity passes from the air to the underground route.
More broadly, all of the southern districts of the German capital were left without power, including its 50,000 residents, 3,000 businesses (including those in the technology park), shopping centers, trams, a dozen schools (which remained closed), traffic lights, and telephone communications.
The temporary connection system that was put in place only managed to restore full power after 60 hours (on the afternoon of Thursday, September 11), and repairs to the network on the two pylons are expected to last until 2026, according to a spokesperson for the company Stromnetz. This power outage in Berlin is also the longest in decades, since the accidental outage in Köpenick in February 2019 affected only 30,000 households and lasted about 30 hours.

Attack on the military-industrial complex – Blackout in Europe’s largest technology park
September 9, early morning: thousands of cities wake up, millions of people are roused from their sleep by the shrill beep of their alarm clocks, heralding the start of another day of monotony and apathy—15 minutes to drink a coffee before rushing off to work. An hour on public transport, a few exchanged glances, no one talking, everyone glued to their screens. Tons of cars crisscross the streets, the noise of sirens scaring the few birds circling above the city. Neighborhoods become a little more dreary every day. Loneliness settles in among the crowds, between concrete buildings, fences, and cameras. Surrounded by a police presence that threatens to suffocate us more and more.
Advertising screens encourage us to consume or invite us to join the German army (Bundeswehr). Yes, here we are again: “The world will rise again thanks to the German spirit” [a famous line from a poem by Geibel in 1861, intended as a call to the world to “become more German”]. The “historic turning point” requires unwavering defense of the homeland and readiness for war, with the “body of the people” sticking together and making sacrifices. Militarization is advancing, and behind the neoliberal promise of prosperity, the fascist face is showing itself more and more openly. Resignation and pessimism are gaining ground, and there is a certain sadness in the air.

Hamburg (Germany): Sabotage of port freight traffic

Sabotage warmongering and rearmament! “Whatever the cost.”

On the night of August 7-8, 2025, we sabotaged a freight railway line in the port of Hamburg, south of Wilhelmsburg. We deliberately chose this section because we did not want to impact rail passengers, who are already struggling, but rather the arms industry and warmongers.

The port of Hamburg is an important transshipment hub for military equipment. Tons of weapons, ammunition, military equipment, and components leave there every day.

Much of this military equipment is produced in Hamburg. Various Hamburg-based companies manufacture weapons themselves or knowingly supply specific components, whether optical, electronic, or mechanical. Those who profit from war supply both the Bundeswehr [German army] and the armed forces of other countries.

Potsdam (Germany): no television, no telephone, no internet

From switchoff, August 7, 2025 (excerpt)

No television, no telephone, no internet. Since Thursday morning, August 7, thousands of Vodafone customers in the city of Potsdam [in the suburbs of Berlin] have been without these services. The reason: arson!

At around 8 a.m., the police received an emergency call: a fire was raging near the Nuthebrücke bridge on Friedrich-Engels Street in Potsdam. Flames were shooting out of a cable shaft. Since then, four Vodafone relay antennas have been out of service. 6,422 of the company’s cable customers can no longer access the internet at home, make phone calls, or watch television. southwestern France, Luzenac (Ariège): Sabotage of the world’s largest talc quarry

Luzenac: has a criminal act targeted the talc quarry?
La Dépêche du Midi, June 5, 2025

Has the Trimouns quarry, one of the world’s largest talc operations, been the target of an act of vandalism? Situated at an altitude of over 1,500 meters, this strategic site alone accounts for almost 10% of the world’s production, with 400,000 tons extracted every year. A fire of suspicious origin recently damaged essential installations, without however interrupting operations.

At around 5 a.m. on Monday May 12, teams from Imerys, the multinational in charge of operations, discovered the damage. The installations upstream of the cable car had been hit by a fire, causing extensive material damage. “Initial observations reveal that the conveyor belts and electrical system have been severely damaged,” confirms a company spokesperson. No casualties were reported, but according to several sources, the cost of repairs would exceed half a million euros. The group declined to comment on this estimate.
