Kirzhach (Russia): anarchist sabotage of a military train line

Anarchist sabotage of a military train line

translated from Russian via the anarchist website a2day, June 28, 2022

The Vladimir cell of the Anarcho-Communist Fighting Organization (БОАК-Владимир1) assumes responsibility for the sabotage of the railroad line leading to military unit 55443 in Barsovo (51st arsenal of the Main Branch of Missiles and Artillery of the Russian Ministry of Defense), near Kirzhach, Vladimir Oblast.

Unlike the previous attack, where we took responsibility for the sabotage without waiting for the result (we decided to publish the information to show everyone how possible it was to attack), for the following actions we chose the strategy of waiting for the result, not publishing a report until success was achieved or it was known that the sabotage had been detected.

Unfortunately, in this case, we received reliable information (a video, apparently from a train driver, who was traveling on this line) that the sabotage was discovered on the evening of June 25.

Nevertheless, even so, the sabotage caused damage to the enemy, delaying the movement of trains carrying military equipment and causing economic losses due to the need to rebuild the tracks.

What was done:
– Unscrewed the 34 nuts (17 on each side) holding the rail.
– 4 joint bar fastening nuts unscrewed
– The rail at the joint bar was lifted, placed on the plate (to hold it in place) and set aside.
– The rails were short-circuited with a wire, in case a signal would be transmitted along the rail through the current, to detect a rail disconnection (thanks to the Telegram subscribers’ advice).

We invite everyone to join the rail war!
Each stopped train means fewer shells and missiles that could have landed in peaceful Ukrainian cities.
